JOB TITLE: Radiologic Technologist

DEPARTMENT: Imaging Services

REPORTS TO: Director of Imaging Services

FLSA STATUS: Nonexempt

JOB SUMMARY: Individual is responsible for radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment for general and fluoroscopic procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other assignments, projects and duties may be required:

1. Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages.

2. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care.

3. The Radiologic Technologist implements the missions, goals and objectives by practicing radiologic science, including performance of high quality radiologic procedures, proficiency testing and quality controls in an atmosphere of professionalism, teamwork and interdisciplinary communication.

4. Other assignments, projects, and duties may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

QUALIFICATIONS:  Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.  ARRT and current Florida licensure in Radiologic Technology.  One year experience preferred.
