Global Alliance Scholarship for Mscom9 (2007/2008 Edition)

GA-EMScom Scholarship Application Form EMScom19 - 2017/2018

The Global Alliance scholarship covers 50 percent of the total tuition fee of the EMScom Executive Master of Science in Communications Management beginning in March 2017. A scholarship of CHF 24,500 will be awarded.

Eligibility Candidates have to: - Have a minimum of 5 years work experience - Work in a communication-related department - Live and work outside of Switzerland - Be fully self- funding their EMScom education

How to apply To proceed with the GA scholarship application, please follow these three steps:

1) In-person or Skype interview with the EMScom Academic Director. During the interview, the candidate’s educational and professional background, path, as well as motivations and expectations on the program will be discussed. Required documents, to be sent to [email protected] are:

 Curriculum Vitae  Copy of diplomas and transcripts of records  Organizational charts of participant’s organization (if available)  Essay of motivation

The essay of motivation should be around 1000 words and address the following topics:

 Your motivation for applying to the EMScom  How will the EMScom contribute to your professional development  Why do you feel you are a strong candidate for the program  How you would contribute to enhance the experience of the EMScom class  What you would do to enhance the EMScom alumni network

(4) 2) Fill in the GA scholarship application form below and send it electronically and in hard copy to the Global Alliance by December 31, 2016 at the latest. One of the GA Board members might call the candidate for an interview.

3) The final decision concerning the scholarship will be communicated to the candidate no later than January 5, 2016. The candidate has 5 (five) working days to decide whether he/she accepts the scholarship.

(4) Documents to be submitted - Scholarship application form - Essay (1,000 words) stating your motivation (please note that it is not the same as the motivational essay requested for the EMScom application) - A financial statement (salary statement or tax statement) stating your financial situation - A legally binding statement that you are not being supported by your company as to tuition fee and/or travel expenses.
