Reports to: Managing Director of Pricing and Market Research

On-going part-time position working 2-3 days a week for 15-25 hours each week in aggregate with the flexibility to increase or decrease hours depending on their schedule and the need of the department. Although the nature of the position allows for some hourly flexibility, the position is not just for the traditional school holiday periods but also consistently during the school year.

General purpose of position

 Help administer and maintain Credit Summaries. Through Loren’s Wojcik’s direction, the intern will help with submitting the audited financials to Merritt Financial, creating content and posting the final product to the Assured website. Note: Credit summary process subject to change in 2017.

 Will serve as primary back-up for Procurement process. Will support Stephanie Cain in logging new business opportunities into the MuniTracks system. In Stephanie’s absence, the candidate will be required to review new business calendars, monitor Procurement general mailbox, facilitate documentation requests and respond to client inquiries. The position will also assist the credit analysts in some data entry requirements with respect to MuniTracks.

 Work on special projects. Projects will relate to new business origination effort and client maintenance.

Requirements

 College student or recent graduate

 Comfort with data entry and a willingness to learn internal systems

 Proficiency in Excel and Word

 Good interpersonal skills
