USEFUL INFORMATION

Accreditation Pass

1 GLASGOW GREEN, GREENDYKE ST, GLASGOW, G1 5DB

Each member of the choir will be given an accreditation pass. This is required to enter the stage area and to be backstage. Please be aware that you won’t get into the stage area without the pass so it would be helpful if everyone could remember to bring it with them on both Friday and Saturday. For health & safety reasons, could you please ensure that only choir and management members are given a pass – no friends or family can enter the backstage area. The passes will be distributed at the final rehearsal on Thursday 10th September.

Holding / Changing Area

We will have a marquee backstage with a separate area to rest in when you are not rehearsing or performing. This will be one open area for the entire choir – we will ensure there are two small partitioned areas (male / female) in case anyone needs to change their clothes before performing.

Catering

We can supply a hot meal backstage on the Saturday evening for the choir. Tea & Coffee and water will be available during rehearsals on Saturday but it may be advisable to bring any snacks or refreshments you require with you on Friday, and for before dinner on Saturday.

Weather / Clothing

Please note that the weather could be wet, cold or changeable on both days. Could everyone please ensure you bring warm, waterproof clothing to wear over your performance clothing in between rehearsing and performing. Please wear smart black trousers or a skirt/dress with a splash of blue. Ideally a blue top, scarf, tie or dress.

Footwear

Please wear smart footwear (no trainers) but be aware that you will be required to access the stage via stairs. Leisure footwear may be advisable prior to performing.
