Reliant Bank is a fast-growing community bank headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee. Reliant’s market area includes Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner and Williamson Counties in Middle Tennessee and Hamilton County in East Tennessee. PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for processing, administration and closing various types of loans. Handles activities such as processing loan payments, construction draw advances, perfecting loan collateral and maintaining loan files. Assists commercial and retail bankers with new loan requests, renewals and modifications. Assists commercial lenders and retail bankers with documentation and collateral exceptions. Responds to routine customer service questions and resolves problems.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

 Supports designated commercial and retail bankers as needed  Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, including recommendation of appropriate bank products and services  Gathers information to efficiently process transactions and requests  Inputs information into documentation software to accurately prepare loan documents; reviews loan package before presenting to loan officer; and may review with loan officer prior to closing  Adheres to strict guidelines and timing requirements for consumer real estate loans  Orders necessary appraisals, appraisal reviews, flood certificates, title work, environmental reports, UCC filings, corporate documents, credit reports and construction inspections  Communicates with attorneys and title companies to schedule closings, requests and reviews documentation such as attorney-prepared loan packages and settlement/HUD/closing statements, and to ensure smooth closings  Communicates with insurance companies to ensure correct lien holder clause and property coverage amounts are on required insurance certificates.  Coordinates loan closings between bank and borrower and title company, and may close loans as needed  Records all loan-related documents with appropriate filing office  Disburses loan funds  Works within established criteria to approve draws and maintain construction draw files  Prepares cashier’s checks, official loan checks and initiates wire transfers  Prepares tickets for loan payments  Quotes payoffs and processes loan payoffs  Processes payments, payoffs, wires, transfers, etc., through online entry system  Submits invoices (appraisal, review, environmental, legal, etc.) for payment to Accounting Department  Assists commercial bankers with past due loans  Responsible for reviewing exception/tickler reports and clearing items  Promotes the Bank’s products and services whenever possible; participates in bank sponsored events, networking opportunities, and volunteer opportunities whenever possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience in the banking or financial industry preferred  Previous experience in a loan setting preferred  Excellent customer service skills required  Maintains a well-developed, working knowledge of bank products and services through self-motivation, seminars and in-house training  Good understanding of financial institution product and services  Ability to communicate effectively through both written and oral formats  Must be detail oriented  Strong organizational and prioritization skills  Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills  Demonstrates a commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting deadlines  Good general math and analytical skills  Maintain a professional image with public interaction Reliant Bank offers competitive compensation and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, short term disability, long term disability, and 401(k).
