The Asian Chamber of Commerce will recognize entrepreneurs and leaders in the community at its Spirit of Entrepreneurship dinner on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. The mission of the Chamber is to promote economic development in the Houston Asian American community and facilitate commerce and trade between Houston and countries of Asia.

Now you have the opportunity to nominate individuals who will be recognized at the annual awards dinner. This event celebrates the success of entrepreneurs and leaders in the community who are making a difference.

Eligibility: -Asian major shareholder/partner -In business for a minimum of three years -Located in the greater Houston area or surrounding cities -Achieved growth or consistency over three years -The company has faced challenges and opportunities with their businesses and positively impacted the communities and industries they serve.

Judging Criteria: -Assessment of financial success over last three years -Strategic direction -Company leadership (personal integrity and risk taking) -Community involvement -Number of employees and total sales (must be verifiable)

Discuss the nominee’s high standards, the nominee’s determination, how the nominee demonstrates perseverance in the face of adversity and overcomes obstacles and the extent to which the nominee is an independent thinker and is willing to take risks in the face of uncertainty.
