Write a 5 paragraph essay summarizing what we have done this last 9 weeks and the things that you have learned.

The first paragraph should be an introduction and the last paragraph a conclusion. These should contain at least 3 sentences. The 3 body paragraphs should contain at least 5 sentences.

Describe 5 activities that we have done. Use scientific terms and concepts in a way that I know you know what they mean. Group activities from the same unit in a paragraph together.

Be sure to use good transition words. Ms. McLemore has given you a list in your APEX folder. If you are not in APEX ask someone in your group to look at their list.

Write a rough draft. Be sure to skip lines to make room for corrections. Have two different people edit your paper. Be sure each person uses a different color to edit.

When editing (A) be sure they have compound and complex sentences in their writings that are correctly punctuated, (B) watch for verb tense consistency, (C) no contractions or “a lot”, (D) if they use pronouns, be sure they are in polite order and the correct pronoun is used, (E) double check for spelling and other grammatical errors. Also be sure the essay meets all of the content requirements.
