Hudson Holiday Coalition for Giving Sponsor Form 2007

The Coalition centralizes and administrates giving for the holiday season. Last year the Coalition provided gifts, clothing and food baskets for 130 families with 286 children. Coalition Committee members include; The Hudson Food Pantry, SMOC/OPAI, 1st Federated Church, Elks Club, Hudson Public School Nurses, Assabet Valley Chamber of Commerce, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts. Gifts and clothing are to be dropped off at School Nurses or SMOC/OPAI during the week of December 3rd and no later than December 7th between the hours of 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Coalition seeks organizations and individuals to sponsor a family (purchase gifts and/or clothing as needed), sponsor a child or make monetary donations. Checks should be made out to Hudson Holiday Coalition.

In general, all families will pick up donations at a School Nurse or SMOC/OPAI.

Please note that the Coalition recommends that sponsors spend approx. $75-$100 per child. This may include both clothing and toys. This will help insure equity among children, especially when there is more than one sponsor for a family.
