Along with the slogan “Discover your tailored laundry”, Girbau is to introduce various new products at Hostelco and at Expodetergo, which will strengthen their position as a manufacturer of equipment for all types of laundries. The Girbau show will be divided into two different areas which group together equipment from the company’s different divisions. Thus, within the framework of Girbau’s commercial laundry division, which specialises in small and medium-sized laundries, Expodetergo visitors will be able to see for themselves the following new products:

 Series 6 washers Visitors will be able to see the complete range of 6 Series models which includes the new: 8kg, 13kg and 17kg high speed washers, and the 10kg, 13kg, 17kg and 23kg medium speed washers. This washer series includes features such as COIN control (for coin-op) LOGI control (with 8 modifiable programmes) and INTELI control (with 99 modifiable programmes for professional processes). The new control systems guarantee the best wash process with the maximum saving on energy. The new washers will complement the already well-known Girbau 4000 Series with capacities of up to 110kg.

 IMT- Inteli Manager Tool For 6 Series washers with Inteli control, Girbau will introduce the Inteli Manager Tool Pack. This software package enables washers to be programmed directly from a PC and also to save programs to a memory card to be subsequently installed in the washer. This system is an enormous help to programming, facilitating program back-ups which can later be rapidly transferred to as many washers as required. What’s more, thanks to the Inteli control’s icon system, programming is extremely easy. The icons provide the user with a quick and easy step-by-step guide without the need to consult instructions manual or be familiar with the programming system. The IMT Pack includes the PC software, a card reader and two memory cards.

 SLI Dryers Girbau will also be showing their new SLI dryers with capacities of 9kg, 14kg, 23kg and 34kg. Their axial air flow optimises the drying process, with a significant saving on energy at the same time ensuring careful handling of the laundry.

As regards the heavy-duty laundry division, Girbau will present the company’s complete laundry system with batch washer, extractor press and dryer. It will also be possible to see the Galaxy feeder in operation, which allows different pieces of laundry to be fed into the flatwork ironer either manually or automatically

The main innovations in this sector are:  The new PSN-80 gas flatwork ironer The new PSN-80 flatwork ironer of Girbau’s comes with all the advantages of working with gas: the saving on costs by not requiring any boiler installation and the optimisation of energy consumption. An 800mm diameter bed-cylinder structure, available in two operating widths (3300 and 3500mm) with 1, 2 or 3 cylinders. The control of the PSN-80 includes new features such as the option to input both the ironing temperature and also the speed. The boilers on the PSN-80 are high output thanks to a twin concentric coil system which doubles the heat surface of the boiler. The position of the boiler, being outside the flatwork ironer, makes the boiler easily accessible and also permits easy cleaning of the ironer’s lower surface where there is usually an accumulation of lint. Any risk of combustion can therefore be prevented. Girbau’s gas version PSN-80 complies with the strictest gas safety standards.

 STI-54 and STI-77 Dryers As for dryers, Girbau will be showing the 54kg and 77kg capacity dryers at this year’s edition. The construction features on these dryers guarantee an excellent drying performance. These dryers incorporate the new microprocessor controls able to input multiple parameters such as drying time, cool down time, etc. for the best possible laundry treatment. To achieve a higher yield, the control system informs the user when the lint filter should be cleaned.
