A little about us: Team Stewart Equestrian – Beatrix Stewart, successful WA FEI Dressage rider, is one half of the dynamic partnership formed with husband and Master Horseman Ian Stewart. Beatrix has worked intensively alongside Ian educating horses from foals to starting under saddle through to Grand Prix Dressage. She has also extensive experience retraining difficult and highly strung horses. Beatrix strongly believes that a horse must be relaxed, calm and confident before progressions can be made with his training. Beatrix has started a selection of home bred dressage horses with which she has enjoyed great success, including State Young Dressage Horse championship awards and all have been on the State Talent and/or Elite Dressage Squads during their competition life. She has also successfully represented WA on the East Coast on a number of occasions.

Beatrix also credits her knowledge to Manolo Mendez and Nadine Merewether and brings a wealth of knowledge together to train for both pleasure and competition. She brings fresh insight and knowledge into modern dressage, working with lightness and sensitivity in order to form a lasting and enjoyable partnership with the horse. Beatrix has her EA NCAS level one riding, level one horsemastership and is a coach in training with full EA insurance. She also has a Certificate of Equine Management.
