Attention 8th Graders - Are you struggling with Math? The Brandywine Hundred Library is offering FREE Math tutoring on WEDNESDAYS. Sign up is required to attend. Please visit the library’s Youth Reference Desk or call 302-477-3150 Bank at School – will be here TODAY during all lunches Baseball – tryouts will continue TODAY for the EVEN numbered group. Players should come prepared for fielding and hitting. First cuts will be posted on THURSDAY GPS – will meet after school on THURSDAY in Room 206 Homework Club – will meet after school TODAY in Room 182 Lacrosse Club – practice will begin THURSDAY, MARCH 16th. Please be sure to get your physical in to the nurse Movie Night – NJHS is having a movie night on THURSDAY from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the cafeteria. Tickets will be sold thru THURSDAY during all lunches for ONLY $5. The movie options are: Middle School – The Worst Years of My Life, Moana and Nine Lives. You can vote for a movie when you purchase a ticket. Please come out to support the Spring Invitational! NJHS – Needs your help! You can help by donating toiletries for our Soap Drive. We will break the donations down by grade level. 6th grade – shampoo, body wash and deodorant. 7th grade – bar soap and deodorant. 8th grade – tooth paste, toothbrushes and toilet paper. Donations may be brought to the Main Office One on One Basketball Tournament - 7th & 8th boys and girls will compete this THURSDAY after school in gym. The winner will receive an Amazon $10 gift card. Signups are in the cafeteria. Please see Mr. Royster with any questions Peer Tutoring – will meet after school in the library TODAY Rapid Readers - will meet TODAY afterschool in the library. We will be choosing books for the next book war Science Fair Club – will meet after school TODAY and THURSDAY in Room 234

Spirit Week - Next week; the Springer Student Council will host our school's Spring Spirit Week, March 13th-17th. Each day we will have a special theme day and daily contests. MONDAY- Crazy Hair Day and pajama bottoms. TUESDAY- Springer Wear, Springer Pride. WEDNESDAY- Americana Day, Red, White and blue. THURSDAY- Duo Day (similar to twin day; Batman and Robin, Mickey and Minnie, Scooby Doo and Shaggy..lol) and Disney Day. FRIDAY- Irish for the Day, Happy St. Patrick's Day, show off your Green, White and Orange S pringer Store - is open before school until 8:05 and during some lunches. Come get your supplies or buy some Springer Wear. The store is located just off the cafeteria

From Mrs. Smith - Attention 8th graders: Howard High School is hosting a College and Career Fair on MARCH 16th from 6:30pm -8:30pm – Admission is free. Flyers with more information are in the main office

Attention 6th and 7th graders: The New Castle County Vo-Tech District is offering summer camps for middle school students. Please stop in the main office for a flyer with more information

Please wear your Springer Cares shirt to support the many, many people that are in need of a kidney transplant Yearbook Club – will meet after school TODAY in Room 140 Yearbooks - are available to order! Orders may be placed online or you can bring in a check or cash and see Mr. Schulke outside Room 161 in the morning before first period. So don’t miss out and order your yearbook now.
