ORGANIZATIONS:

Join Debate! We meet every Monday from 3:30 - 6:00 pm in the ARC. We meet all of semester 1.

Yoga club meets on Tuesday after school in the upstairs Pickard Lobby.

Art Club will be meeting in room 420 at 3:20 pm every Tuesday.

Reminder the Culinary arts Competition teams are meeting in room 418 at 3:25 on Tuesdays.

SEA Club will now meet on Tuesdays after school. Please plan to meet tomorrow 10/7 at 3:25 pm in room 164B.

Yearbook will be meeting Wednesday after school in room 103.

Knitting Club - Meets Wednesdays at 3:30 in the Career Center. See Mrs. Uvaas with any questions.

Heart Group – will be meeting on Thursday after school in room 404.

Creative Writing Club is cancelled for today. It will resume next week.

Attention Spanish Club – you will enjoy Dinner at El Azteca on Thursday, November 13th at 6:00 pm. Bring your own money.

Spanish Club will be Meeting on Friday, November 14th at 7:20 am in room 312.

Members of French Club: Please join us this Friday, November 14th at 4 pm for French Movie Night. We will be viewing a French film in room 324.

The next Game Day will be Saturday, November 15th from 10 am – 6 pm. Please enter through Door 6 if you plan to attend.

Attention all Business and IT Academy Students! There will be a guest speaker from the Arts Institute on Tuesday, November 18th, all day. All seminars will take place in room 114. Mod 2: Careers in IT and Graphic Arts Mod 3: Careers in Marketing Mod 4: Careers in It and Graphic Arts Mod. 5: International Business Mod. 6: Careers in It and Graphic Arts Mod 7: Marketing Students will need to sign in and will be excused through attendance.

______GENERAL: ATTENTION ALL SENIORS: If you have not turned your cap and gown orders in online, you must get those in as soon as possible. Please order ASAP to avoid any late fees, you can order online at Jostens.com, send order and payment by mail to Jostens, or drop orders off to Mr. Jacobson. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Jacobson.

Please join us at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, Dec. 13 for a fun filled day of shopping, authors, music, entertainment, and contests. A portion of all sales, including books, technology, music, cafe, and cheesecakes (see attached order form) will come right back to support literacy initiatives at Neenah High School. Please use the attached flyer or mention "Neenah High School" when checking out.

More lifeguards are needed at the NHS Pool on evenings and weekends. If interested, please stop at the pool office during open swim and talk to Kristi.

Have you every thought about going on a service trip? This summer you will have your opportunity. Mr. Borchardt will taking a group of NHS students to the Dominican Republic to do service work. If you are interested please stop down to see Mr. Borchardt in room 416 or email him for more information.

Do you like to play basketball? Join YNBA Basketball! Games are played on Saturday mornings in January and February. Cost is $45 or $70 per player. Information is available in the main office.

The Neenah Park and Rec. department is looking for Ice Rink Supervisors – please see the jobs board or City of Neenah website for more information.

Congratulations to the NHS One-Act Play for advancing to the state competition at Viterbo on November 20 – 22.

Congratulations to the Math Team! Neenah finished second at last week’s meet and moved into a three-way tie for first place in the Fox Valley Math League.

Congratulations to the Girls Swimming and Diving Team, they are looking forward to representing the Rockets at State.
