7. Safeway a store popular in the Pacific Northwest reported annual theft rates on their goods at 4% of yearly sales. This means 4% of everything in the store is stolen! Does this surprise you? 9. Take a look at FIGURE 7.3 “Crime Clock”. Remember this is reported crime…Not crimes, which are never discovered (Like the Safeway thief that gets away with a cart full of diapers)! What are your thoughts on these crime rates? Are you surprised? Which figures stand out to you?
