Dear Parents/Families, I’m pleased to announce that FJHS teachers are planning to take students on an educational tour to Switzerland, Austria, and Germany during Spring Break 2017. We will experience amazing places including Germany’s first Nazi concentration camp Dachau, Vienna’s Gothic St, Stephan’s Cathedral, Salzburg, the back drop of the Musical The Sound of Music, “Mad” King Ludwig’s fairy-tale castle of Neuschwanstein, and visit the majestic Alps on our tour of Lucerne, Switzerland, where composer Richard Wagner wrote several of his major works. The list is much too long to list on this letter. Because of your child’s dedication to learning and excellent behavior in class, Emma is being specifically invited to participate in this travel opportunity. The invitation to travel with us is also extended to parents/family. Students aged 12 – 16 at the time travel are a best fit for this trip. There is limited space on the trip and trips fill quickly.
