Early Release Schedule/Details

EARLY RELEASE SCHEDULE/DETAILS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15

We will begin dismissal at 11:55. We will start with 6th, then 7th, then 8th. Please WAIT to dismiss until you hear your announcement or until an administrator dismisses your class. Please follow all directives to ensure a safe dismissal. Our workshop will begin promptly at 12:30pm and will end by 3:00pm. Staff members are required to attend for the duration of the afternoon. Please make arrangements to stay for the required time.

Early Dismissal Details:  LUNCH: Classes will eat in their classrooms. Each class will be contacted by administration to move to lunch. Lunch order = 8th, 7th, then 6th grade. When contacted, only those who need to get lunch from the cafeteria will report there to get their lunch and then return back to the classroom. Core teachers will stay in their classrooms with their students.  Dismissal pattern will be on the normal schedule by announcement.

DAILY SCHEDULE 7:30 Tardy bell rings 7:35 – 8:15 8th Grade 1A Encore (move to encore at 7:30) 8:30 – 9:10 7th Grade 5A Encore (move to encore at 8:25) 9:25 – 10:05 6th Grade 3A Encore (move to encore at 9:15) 10:05 – 10:45 A-day Encore supervision group assists with lunch, etc. 10:45 – 11:30 B-day Encore supervision group assists with lunch, etc.

8th Grade Schedule: 8:15 – 8:25 Locker Break (just like the 9:13 locker break) 8:25 – 9:05 3rd Period 9:09 – 9:50 4th Period 9:54 – 11:15 5th Period + Lunch 11:18 – 12:00 6th Period

Attention Encore teachers: For your supervisory duty spot time frame during the school day, please report to the following locations:

Location 10:05 – 10:40 (A-Group) 10:40 – 11:30 (B-Group) 800 Hallway Tesh Daniels 700 Hallway Je. Due to the overlapping of classes on this day, you will need to hold those students an extra 5 minutes (until 11:20) until their EC teacher is available.

Attention 6th and 7th grade:  You ARE allowed to create your team schedule for this particular day. For 6th and 7th core teams who serve EC students: You are to consult with the other team as well as the EC teachers who serve your grade level to determine the best schedule that will accommodate your students on this day. Please let the main office know what your team’s schedule will be so that we can locate students if necessary.

On any early dismissal days (early release days, report card distribution dates, etc), encore staff will assist with dismissal supervision. Below are the supervision assignments on these days:
