Miles Williamson-Noble Chair

Miles served for most of his professional life as an Engineer Officer in the Royal Air Force. He left in 1997 in the rank of Air Commodore. He then worked for 10 years as Registrar and Secretary of the Farriers Registration Council. He has been a Rutland County Councillor, a school governor and from 2014 to 2015 served as of Rutland. He is a business adviser with Young Enterprise, and is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Farriers. He joined the Board of Healthwatch Rutland CIC in 2017 and was appointed Chair of Rutland First CIC in April 2018. Throughout his life, Miles has been involved with the training of young people and is passionate about ensuring that they are able to make the best of the opportunities open to them.

Nicola Darby

Qualified solicitor with 14 years experience specialising in commercial freehold and leasehold property within the public health, local authority and education sectors. Experience of managing a range of both small and large-scale property transactions from initial instruction through to matter conclusion. Her relevant experience includes:

• Providing clear and concise legal advice and support to clients, having regard to the client’s business objectives, and delivering practical, creative and commercial solutions and value within budget and time constraints, whilst ensuring that risks are understood and mitigated. • Member of Departmental Strategic Planning Team monitoring productivity and team budgets. • Assisting in development of risk management strategies and the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the requirements of the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority are met.

• Monitoring legal developments, significant case law and doctrine and providing academic and technical legal input in the preparation of articles, legal commentaries and client briefings. • Drafting, updating and managing transaction precedents, templates, memoranda and practice notes. • Developing and delivering both internal and external training seminars. • Board Member, Healthwatch Rutland • Chair of Rutland Adult Mental Health Forum

Jennifer Fenelon

Jennifer was Chair of Healthwatch Rutland CIC from its formation in 2014 until April 2018. She is a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School, a graduate of Managing Successful Programmes, and an NHS Fast Track National Graduate. She completed the NHS National Programme for Personnel Officers and is a Prince 2 Practitioner. She has been responsible for budgets ranging in size from £70K (Healthwatch Rutland) to £100M (Health Authority and NHS Trusts). She has been Managing Director of a private sector instrumentation company, turning it around and selling it on. She has been responsible for the management of 6 major NHS trusts with workforces ranging from 2000 to 6000. She has been Involved in large scale change management and quality improvement including overseeing several thousand redundancies as a consequence. Director of Skills for Health setting national occupational standards for the whole Health Sector (public and private) and working with the education sector to ensure qualifications reflect changing need. CEO of 5 large acute hospitals and 1 large psychiatric hospital of 1500 beds, and a health authority serving a population of 600,000. Regional Cancer Lead for 3 regions working with clinicians planning modernisation of patterns of delivery of cancer services. Planning and implementing modernised services across a number of health economies in England. Part of Department of Health team responsible for evaluation of private sector companies wishing to work in the NHS.

Christine Stanesby

Christine has been resident in Rutland for 17years.

Her professional life was in education with a variety of teaching experience including 14 years as a senior lecturer in a university department . As the wife of a parish priest she has had wide exposure to a range of personal and social problems. She spent 5 years as a volunteer in a hospice day centre, has been a governor of an independent school and for 18 years was a member of the petitions committee of a national charity.

Christine has extensive knowledge of autism and Asperger's syndrome and is keen to support the provision of respite care, care for carers and provision for young people with disabilities as they move into the adult world.

She was a member of the steering group of LINK, and was previously the Healthwatch representative on the Health and Wellbeing Board, the Alliance Contract Board and Better Care Together.

Christine sees the effective and efficient organisation of public services as a major concern and would like to make some contribution to working through the problems.

Geoff Thompson

Geoff Thompson joined the Resilient Rutland project in 2017, initially to help with secondary school communications, and is now the Chair of the Resilient Rutland Steering Group. He is retired from a 41 year career spanning Risk Management, Strategy, IT, Operations, Relationship Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales and General Management with

3 responsibilities varying from local, regional, national and international and working with over 80 countries. Of this career he most enjoyed understanding and working with cultural differences and living (and skiing) in Canada and Switzerland. He has been Chair of the Governing Body of Uppingham Community College since 2012 and is a Founder Governor at Harington School. He is also Chair of the Uppingham Surgery Patient Participation Group, a member of the Uppingham Parochial Church Council, a local Councillor for Uppingham, a member of the Badley Affordable Housing Trust and Chair of Practical Compassion for Destitute Children. He is a Freeman of the City of London, a Liveryman of the Information Technologists Company, and has B.Sc(Hons), ACIB and CIMA Cert.BA qualifications. His whole family is involved in local community activities and he enjoys walking, cycling, travelling, camping, skiing, sailing and singing. Jeannette Warner

On graduating from Exeter University I worked for a leading Insurance company in their personnel department before joining the family commercial printing company where I am now a director. I became a Board member of CIC Rutland in June 2019 with a particular interest in supporting Resilient Rutland. I am also a Deputy Lieutenant for the county of Rutland

Judy Worthington

I have been a non-executive director of Leicester General Hospital and vice chair of the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. I work nationally with the healthcare regulators and professional bodies such as the Royal College of Surgeons to ensure that patients get safe and high quality care. Whilst I am an east Leicestershire resident, with my family I access primary care services in Rutland. I was a founder board member of Healthwatch Rutland in 2014, and since last year I have been on the board of Rutland First where I am also Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. I am hugely supportive of Rutland First’s unique role and ambitions to safeguard and improve and the health and wellbeing of all our residents.
