Important DART Rail Information
Union Station Service Notice (4/12/2010 – 5/26/2010) • DART Platform will be CLOSED for repairs • TRE Train service will remain the same • Shuttle Buses will be provided between Union Station and both West End and Convention Center stations. • Passengers can board regularly scheduled northbound and southbound Red and Blue Line trains. • Day passes ($4) and single-ride ($1.75) fares are available on buses • Schedule: Direction M - F Sa Su Northbound 4:05a-11:43p 3:55a-11:36p 3:55a-11:33p Southbound 5:11a-11:33p 5:02a-11:38p 5:02a-11:38p • TRE customers will have the option of using the bus shuttles or transferring to the DART Rail Green Line at Victory Station for connections to the Red or Blue lines at any downtown station • Bus shuttles board at the Red Bus Stop located near each station • At Union Station, the stop is in front of the building on Houston Street • At West End Station, the stop is at the southbound bus stop on Lamar Street • The Convention Center Station stop is adjacent to the northbound platform on Memorial Drive • During this period, Trinity Railway Express (TRE) trains will continue to serve Union Station, but will board on the Amtrak platform (Tracks 4 or 5). Amtrak’s Texas Eagle service will operate as usual on Track 5. TRE/Amtrak wheelchair riders may continue to access the Amtrak platform through either the east or west pedestian crossings. Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Extreme Winter Weather Service Update February 17, 2021 DART Service Updates for Thursday, February 18, 2021 Due to the extreme winter weather, snowfall and hazardous road conditions around North Texas, and for the safety of both our passengers and employees, DART remains in Operating Scenario 2 of their Severe Winter Weather Operating Plans. DART Light Rail Service DART rail service will remain suspended on Thursday, February 18. DART Bus Service DART buses will continue service on a Saturday schedule with limited additional service on local routes 63 and 362 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. DART is also running an additional 14 shuttle bus routes. The Operating Scenario 2 shuttle bus routes are available on the DART website at https://www.dart.org/winterweather. The Dallas Streetcar will not operate at this time, but there will be a shuttle bus running to and from EBJ Union Station and the Bishop Arts District, making all stops. Trinity Railway Express (TRE) Service TRE will operate service on a Saturday schedule beginning on Thursday, February 18. There may be delays depending on weather conditions. Stay informed about any service changes by registering for TRE Alerts at www.trinityrailwayexpress.org. DART Paratransit Service DART Paratransit will operate limited service between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday, February 18 and 19 for medical and dialysis trips only. Regular service will resume on Saturday, February 20. Customers may book trips beginning Thursday for Friday through Monday trips. Customers who need to book trips or check the status of their trip can contact reservations at (214) 515-7272 or through the web portal at www.dart.org/ridepara. -
