WARDROBE INFORMATION
1). REHEARSALS: Exercise outfits or sweats. Information on non-competition wardrobe will be included in your final packet, which will be posted on-line a few weeks prior to the pageant.
2). FASHION SHOW OPENING INTRODUCTIONS: Each contestant will select an outfit of their choice to wear in a runway style FASHION SHOW INTRODUCTION. Select an outfit that reflects your own personality, style and sense of fashion. You can select a dress, pants, shorts, jumpsuit/romper of any color or print with coordinating footwear and any accessories (NO FULL LENGTH GOWNS or FLOOR LENGTH TRAINS). Please make sure your outfit is in good taste! Have fun and show your personality! You may select a fashion show opening outfit that can also be worn during your private interview (refer to the interview information below).
3). SWIMSUIT (MISS CONTESTANT): one or two-piece swimsuit. Any color, color combination, print, pattern or floral design is acceptable. The style is up to you as long as it is in good taste; do not offend the judges! Swimsuits should cover the majority of your butt. NO Thongs! Please wear nude/taupe colored or clear shoes for swimsuit competition. Earrings, bracelets, and necklaces are allowed for swimsuit, use your accessories to create a high fashion, “Victoria’s Secret Runway look.” Any additional props used for the Swimsuit competition will be provided by the pageant. If you are unsure or have any questions regarding your swimsuit contact the office for prior approval.
3). ACTIVE WEAR (TEEN CONTESTANT): You will need an athletic style sports bra and may chose between compression pants and compression shorts. You can select any color or pattern. Reflect your personality. Customized text (your name or title) is not allowed. Wear coordinating tennis or gym shoes. (Please Note: You may have a fun walk with energy in active wear, but do not let it become distractive with too much bounce or kicking of the leg.)
SAMPLES OF TEEN ACTIVE WEAR:
4). EVENING GOWN: A full-length gown, any style, color, plain or embellished, with coordinating shoes and earrings.
5). PRIVATE INTERVIEW: An outfit that represents your personality and you feel comfortable wearing. This can range from casual to business oriented, but something you would find in your own closet.
6). DINNER BANQUET: A Cocktail/After Five dress or pantsuit for a Dinner Banquet.
NOTE: Please remember to bring plenty of straight pins, hair pins, safety pins, wardrobe accessories, firm grip, aspirin, make-up, band aids, needle and thread for minor alterations.
