The plot is quite original and surreal: a child who is home alone and capable of making the bandits's lives miserable? Sure, it's an impossible story, but who cares? Far from being a perfect movie, it is however okay and fun to watch, entertaining and contains slapstick humor too although I don't like some of the language used.

Email blast “Gift ideas for the readers (and writers) in your life” from the president of BookBaby: 11/30/2019 Gmail - Gift ideas for the readers (and writers) in your life I know I sounded pretty Grinch-y in last weekend's message about the "cherished" Thanksgiving feast, and I sincerely hope you're enjoying the afterglow of the holiday. But take a look at the calendar.. .there's a shortened holiday shopping season this year. It's time to put down the pumpkin pie (please!) and get to work on your gift list. To help jump-start your shopping, I asked the BookBaby staff to suggest their favorite books from the past year. Here are a few that caught our attention: Jeremy Beth Michaels is a makeup expert and comedian from Los Angeles. She started her stand-up comedy career in 1999, highlighted by a spot on the famed Tonight Show "for 30 long seconds." Meanwhile, her day job in the call center of Sephora provided a crash course on makeup and beauty tips. She's combined these passions in her book, Make Me Pretty, Make Me Laugh, that she calls "an unconventional how-to beauty book." From the mind of an irreverent comedian and makeup artist, complete with illustrations, this book is a delightful and lighthearted gift choice for some of the ladies in your life. The Journey Of The Paper Heart tells the captivating story of a young girl chasing a paper heart as it's blown through the enchanting city of Paris. Along the way, she discovers a bit of the rich history and traditions of the City of Light.
