Died DA SILVA ‐ Died, on Saturday, April 17th, after a short illness, Mr. Manoel Da Silva, aged 22 years. Mr. Da Silva was a native of Demerara. He came to this island about five months ago and having made up his mind to settle here, opened a hairdressing establishment, which was progressing very successfully. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon. The Band of Professor Benti's company attended and played a dead march during the procession to the tomb.Grenada Chronicle.
