LOCAL NEWS Downtown San Pedro transformed back to 1932 for HBO’s ‘Perry Mason’ miniseries The series stars Matthew Rhys as Mason; John Lithgow as attorney Elias Birchard “E.B.” Jonathan, a semi-regular employer and mentor of Mason’’s; and Tatiana Maslany as Sister Alice, a radio preacher.
