According to the report, 12,865 circumstances have been registered in Vile Parle, Kurla, Bandra and Chembur which included 1,833 circumstances of theft, 580 circumstances of home break-in, 281 circumstances of rape and 40 of homicide.

North-west Mumbai, which constitutes of Jogeshwari, Goregaon, Andheri and Malad, recorded 11,088 circumstances which included 1,435 circumstances of theft, 540 circumstances of home break-in, 251 circumstances of rape and 40 of homicide.

According to the report, homicide circumstances from April 2019 to March 2020 have been highest within the north-east area of Mumbai, together with , , and . However, this area is reportedly the least variety of prison circumstances with 6,594. Mumbai Police mentioned that the areas of Bandra and Kurla are essentially the most weak, although the topography and the folks dwelling in them are completely different. “Ironically, cases of rape and theft are highest in Bandra which otherwise is a plush locality,” mentioned a police officer.
