Includes the memoirs, Civil War diary and letters, and later correspondence and observations from Salt Lake City of Fred Lockley Sr. The collection also includes correspondence and business papers related to the Pacific Monthly magazine, including letters concerning literary figures such as Jack London, Edwin Markham, and others.
