Rock in Rio Inicia Comemorações Por Seus 30 Anos Com Mega Ação Em Times Square Rock in Rio inicia comemorações por seus 30 anos com mega ação em Times Square Organização confirma datas da edição do Rio de Janeiro: de 18 a 20 e de 24 a 27 de setembro de 2015 Bandas das edições USA e Brasil começam a ser anunciadas Rio de Janeiro, 26 de setembro de 2014 – Em janeiro de 2015, o Rock in Rio completa 30 anos, mas as comemorações pelo aniversário do maior festival de música e entretenimento do mundo já começaram. Para celebrar, a organização do evento preparou uma mega ação na Times Square, em Nova York. O quarteirão mais famoso do coração de Manhattan foi tomado pelo festival, com uma superexposição da marca 100% brasileira: cerca de 50 telões da avenida foram tomados por mensagens e imagens do Rock in Rio. Além de coquetel no prédio do Nasdaq para 200 convidados, entre clientes e imprensa dos Estados Unidos, Brasil e Portugal, e a divulgação das primeiras atrações das edições de 2015 — em Las Vegas, nos dias 8, 9, 15 e 16 de maio, e no Rio de Janeiro, em 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26 e 27 de setembro —, a ação contou ainda com shows de John Mayer e Sepultura & Tambours du Bronx. A banda No Doubt, confirmada para a edição americana do festival, também participou do evento. “São muitos os motivos para comemorarmos. Ao longo desses 30 anos, já realizamos 14 edições e, em 2015, além da edição brasileira, onde tudo começou, estaremos em Las Vegas. Somos o maior festival de música e entretenimento do mundo e chegar aos Estados Unidos, maior mercado do show business mundial, era uma consequência inevitável”, afirma Roberto Medina, presidente do Rock in Rio. Segundo ele, exportar o talento brasileiro na realização de um evento grandioso, sobretudo para o país do entretenimento, é consequência de inúmeros anos de um amplo trabalho de construção de marca. “Em 1985, o Rock in Rio abriu as portas do país para os grandes shows internacionais e, de lá para cá, leva o Rio no nome para onde quer que vá evidenciando o Rio de Janeiro e o Brasil”. Atrações A organização do Rock in Rio anunciou, durante o evento na Times Square, as primeiras atrações para as duas edições de 2015 do Rock in Rio. No Brasil, Katy Perry voltará ao Palco Mundo do festival. Nos Estados Unidos, o Metallica será um dos headliners do fim de semana dedicado ao rock. Para a edição americana, também já foram confirmados Linkin Park e No Doubt. Rock in Rio - Brasil Katy Perry volta ao Rock in Rio em 2015. A artista, que se apresentou na edição de 2011 do festival, sobe ao Palco Mundo, pronta para mostrar ao público a irreverência que já virou sua marca registrada, levando a cantora a se transformar num fenômeno que extrapola a música e influencia até mesmo o modo de se vestir dos seus fãs. Com seus cabelos coloridos e muitas trocas de figurino, Katy apresentará no festival o show Prisma, que atualmente está rodando os Estados Unidos. Rock in Rio – USA Metallica será um dos headliners da edição americana do Rock in Rio, em Las Vegas. A banda, que já tocou cinco vezes no Rock in Rio, se apresenta no fim de semana dedicado ao rock. Ao longo de 33 anos de carreira, o Metallica já produziu nove álbuns e é o terceiro artista mais vendido na era SoundScan, com mais de 54 milhões de álbuns vendidos até agora. Em 2013, a banda entrou para o livro dos recordes, por ser a primeira banda a se apresentar nos sete continentes: além de tocar ao vivo na América do Norte, América do Sul, Europa, Ásia, Austrália e África, o Metallica fez show na Antartica, em 08 de dezembro de 2013, para um pequeno grupo de cientistas e pinguins, na Estação Carlini. No line-up da mesma noite também está o Linkin Park. A banda, que já tocou em três edições do festival, se apresenta no Palco Mundo do Rock in Rio-USA. Com seis álbuns lançados em estúdio e mais de 60 milhões de discos vendidos em todo o mundo, o Linkin Park é uma das bandas com mais seguidores no Facebook: são 65 milhões. Seu álbum mais recente, The Hunting Party, é o #1 no Top Rock Albums da Billboard. Pela primeira vez no Rock in Rio, a banda No Doubt também será um dos headliners da edição americana do evento. Vencedora de dois Grammys e cinco prêmios MTV Video Music Awards, a banda já se apresentou no intervalo do Super Bowl, para o presidente dos Estados Unidos no Kennedy Center Honors e para o músico Paul McCartney. Ingressos Rock in Rio - USA A ação na Times Square marcou também o início da venda de ingressos para o Rock in Rio – USA. No total, pessoas de mais de 40 países já haviam reservado ingressos para a primeira edição do festival nos Estados Unidos. Ingressos Rock in Rio-USA para brasileiros isentos de IOF- O Rock in Rio vai disponibilizar, a partir das 20h do dia 26 de setembro, uma venda nacional de ingressos para a edição americana do festival através do site Ingresso.com. Por ali, os bilhetes poderão ser adquiridos em Real, e os brasileiros ficam isentos de pagar IOF. O Hotel Urbano, agência de viagens online líder no Brasil e operadora de turismo internacional oficial do Rock in Rio USA, será a única empresa brasileira que poderá comercializar pacotes de viagem com ingresso para as duas próximas edições do festival, nos Estados Unidos, em maio, e no Rio de Janeiro, em setembro do ano que vem. Os pacotes para USA já estão disponíveis para venda ao público. Ingressos Rock in Rio-BR Na ocasião, também foi anunciada a volta do Rock in Rio Card. Contando com uma superprodução, com ar hollywoodiano, estrelada pelo ator Donald Sutherland, a venda antecipada de ingressos para a edição brasileira do festival terá início em novembro deste ano.
