    Anotace Tématem této diplomové práce je analýza prodeje osobních automobilů u vybraných prodejen v letech 2008-2013. Práce je rozložena do čtyř kapitol. První tři kapitoly jsou spíše teoretické. První kapitola obsahuje teoretická východiska pro pojmy marketingový mix. Zabývá se tedy produktem, cenou, komunikací, distribucí a závěr je věnován segmentaci trhu. Na kapitolu jedna navazuje charakteristika ekonomické recese. Je zde definována ekonomická recese, popsány dopady recese na Českou republiku a automobilový průmysl v krizi. Další kapitola se věnuje automobilovým značkám ŠKODA a Mercedes-Benz. Je vylíčena jejich historie, strategie a představeny jsou modely obou značek. Závěr práce je věnován analýze prodeje u prodejen v Liberci, kterými jsou Hoffmann & Žižák spol. s r.o. a Auto GREMOS, spol. s r.o. Prodejny jsou analyzovány z pohledu počtu prodaných vozů, typu modelů, velikosti marže a životnosti modelů. Cílem práce je zjištění, zda ekonomická recese ovlivnila výsledky těchto prodejen, a navrhnout jim možná opatření. The work is divided into four chapters, where the first three chapters are rather theoretical. The first chapter consists of theoretical explanations of the marketing mix topics. Therefore, it elaborates on the concepts of product, price, communication, distribution, and the conclusion of this chapter is dedicated to market segmentation. Chapter one is followed by characterization of an economic recession. In this part, the economic recession is defined and the impacts of the recession on the Czech Republic as well as on the car industry in times of crisis are explained.
