C:\Users\Daniel Beitzel\Downloads\Parental Information Packet for Canada 2016.docx Page 7 of 9 Helpful Packing Hints

1. Pack a small bag for bus containing useful items to freshen up with such as:  Washcloth w/plastic bag (to use when washcloth is wet)  Toothbrush w/toothpaste  Hair brush/comb  Deodorant  Pillow for sleeping  Flashlight  Money  Jacket/something warm.  Change of clothes- Note: you can also pack another change of clothes for the trip back on the bus.  Note: You will need to transfer items from your small bag to your duffle bag because you can only take one duffle bag for luggage on the plane to Weagamow Lake.

2. For Weagamow Lake:  Only one duffle bag (approx. 20 inches diameter by 3 feet long and not weighing more than 30 pounds) for luggage when boarding plane. You will have to hold your sleeping bag & pillow (unless you can fit it into your duffle bag).  Roll items tightly to compress. Plan for at least 3 changes of clothes (besides what you wear and leave on bus). Take clothing appropriate for your task. Remember there is a washer and dryer. Rain jacket and some warm outer wear maybe helpful.  Towels, Wash clothes, and soap. Suggest coordinating Shampoo/Conditioner, hairdryers, curling irons, etc. Remember there is limited bathroom capacity. Hats are wonderful for bad hair.  Personal hygiene items.  Medications - over 18-can self dispense - under 18 give to Anita.  A roll of toilet paper.  Sleeping gear (nightclothes included).  Insect repellant/netting, flashlight.  Bible, notebook or pad, writing utensils.  Eating utensils including: Bowl, mug, fork, spoon, table knife. Plate, cup, dish soap and drying towels will be provided.

3. Do not forget your Passport Book/Card. It will be collected prior to boarding bus.

4. Lots of warm love, unselfish spirit, and preserving attitude.
