  • Homeopathy and Psychological Therapies
Entry Homeopathy and Psychological Therapies Davide Donelli * and Michele Antonelli AUSL-IRCCS Reggio Emilia, 42122 Reggio Emilia, Italy; [email protected] * Correspondence: [email protected] Definition: Homeopathy is a popular, although highly debated, medicinal practice based on the administration of remedies in which active substances are so diluted that no detectable trace of them remains in the final product. This hypothesis paper aims to outline a possible reinterpreta- tion of homeopathy in the light of psychological therapies in order to improve its clinical safety and sustainability. Keywords: homeopathy; psychology; reinterpretation; hypothesis 1. Introduction Homeopathy is a popular, although highly debated, medicinal practice. In Italy, for ex- ample, it is estimated that, even if with a slightly declining trend, around 4.1% of the entire population (almost 2.5 million people) occasionally or regularly seeks homeopathic care, and these data, collected in 2013, suggest that homeopathy is the most used Complemen- tary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) by Italians [1]. Epidemiological studies aimed to assess the worldwide prevalence of homeopathy use have reported similar data for other high-income countries [2]. Homeopathy was first invented by the German doctor Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843), and it is based on the administration of remedies in which active substances are so diluted that no detectable trace of them remains in the final product [3]. In his empirical studies, Citation: Donelli, D.; Antonelli, M. Hahnemann reported that the self-administration of a common antimalarial medicinal Homeopathy and Psychological Ther- plant (Cinchona) resulted in the occurrence of the same symptoms of malaria, but to a Encyclopedia 2021 1 apies.

  • Complaint Counsel's Opposition to Renewed Motion to Quash
FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION | OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY | FILED 4/14/2021 | OSCAR NO. 601202PUBLIC | PUBLIC UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BEFORE THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGES ________________________________________________ In the Matter of HEALTH RESEARCH LABORATORIES, LLC, a limited liability company, WHOLE BODY SUPPLEMENTS, LLC, a limited liability company, and DOCKET NO. 9397 KRAMER DUHON, individually and as an officer of HEALTH RESEARCH LABORATORIES, LLC and WHOLE BODY SUPPLEMENTS, LLC. ______________________________________________ COMPLAINT COUNSEL’S OPPOSITION TO RENEWED MOTION TO QUASH Respondents have made their prior counsel, Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP (“Olshan”), central to this matter by blaming consultants engaged at Olshan’s suggestion for Respondents’ admittedly unlawful advertising. Consequently, what those consultants told Respondents before they chose to run their deceptive advertising is crucial to determining the appropriate scope of relief. Yet Respondents refuse to produce their consultants’ work, and their consultants dubiously claim they no longer possess it. As a result, Complaint Counsel had no choice but to seek this important nonprivileged material from Olshan directly. Respondents claim attorney-client privilege, but their blanket assertion that everything Olshan may possess is allegedly “confidential” does not meet their burden. To prove consulting materials are privileged, Respondents must establish that the consultants worked exclusively to help Olshan provide legal advice, or that they are the “functional equivalent” of Respondents’ own employees. Here, neither is true. Accordingly, because Olshan possesses relevant, nonprivileged documents not available elsewhere, Respondents’ motion must be denied.1 1 Complaint Counsel’s March 30 motion to reschedule the evidentiary hearing to permit more time for discovery is pending before the Commission.

Miracle Deliverance Ministry Pat Holliday, PhD., Newsletter April 13, 2018 https://www.miracleinternetchurch.com/ Morgellons Disease Related to Black Magic Rituals? i Black magic has traditionally referred to the use of supernatural powers or magic for evil and selfish purposes.[1] With respect to the left-hand path and right-hand path dichotomy, black magic is the malicious, left-hand counterpart of the benevolent white magic. In modern times, some find that the definition of "black magic" has been convoluted by people who define magic or ritualistic practices that they disapprove of as "black magic".[2] The Witchdoctor and the Man: City Under the Sea http://amzn.to/1332Ww4 Radio Program: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/drpatholliday/2017/02/18/climate-manipulation-chemtrailsdr- pat-holidaydr-sabrina-sessionmarshal-perot SHORT LINK: http://tobtr.com/s/10720871 John 8:32,36, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free ... If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” MIND MANIPULATIONS BY ELECTROMETIC BLACK MAGIC like its counterpart white magic, the origins of black magic can be traced to the primitive, ritualistic worship of spirits as outlined in Robert M. Place's 2009 book, Magic and Alchemy.[3] Unlike white magic, in which Place sees parallels with primitive shamanistic efforts to achieve closeness with spiritual beings, the rituals that developed into modern "black magic" were designed to invoke those same spirits to produce beneficial outcomes for the practitioner. Place also provides a broad modern definition of both black and white magic, preferring instead to refer to them as "high magic" (white) and "low magic" (black) based primarily on intentions of the practitioner employing them.

Towards a [re]conceptualisation of power in high-performance athletics in the UK A CONSTERDINE PhD 2020 Towards a [re]conceptualisation of power in high-performance athletics in the UK ALEXANDRA CONSTERDINE A thesis submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements of Manchester Metropolitan University for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences Manchester Metropolitan University 2020 ii ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS I lay the blame for this thesis at the door of my first Director of Studies, Dr Bill Taylor. As it was his foresight, patience and wisdom that has encouraged me to persevere, so he must shoulder some of the burden. Despite being constantly challenged in the last five years, I offer my unending gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to him. I also extend sincere thanks as well as further blame to my supervisory team. To Dr Laura Gale, my second Director of Studies, Dr Ryan Groom and Dr Samantha Oldfield who have provided me with their well measured advice and questions. Furthermore, I recognise that without the willing contribution from all who acted as research participants I would have no thesis at all. Therefore, thank you to everyone I interviewed and I hope to do justice to your involvement. To my well-meaning friends and family who forgave me for not being fully present, I extend my warmest gratitude. I am indebted to your foolhardy belief in me throughout my research. My parents, Rose and Bill, have kept me grounded throughout. Finally, to the two people most affected by my studies, Tom and Mikey, I thank you the most.

  • Iridology PDF Entire Course
Beginning Iridology Guide Introduction to the Course Welcome to the Herb’n Home Online Iridology Course! I have taught this same course for the past four years to many people including mothers, teachers, alternative practitioners, doctors and nurses. The response has been so overwhelming that many of my students asked me to put this same course online so they could share it with their friends. My goal in doing this is twofold – to make the information itself available to you but also to make myself available to you as well. I have been practicing Iridology professionally for the past four years and have been involved in natural healing for many years. I have found over the years that practitioners have their own unique experience and wisdom and I hope to share what I have learned with you as well as all the “book information”. The following is an outline of the course. The teaching method I use in my online course is to send the student the course one chapter at a time. When they are finished with that chapter they write to me to request the quiz and I send it to them. As you finish each quiz please send it back and I will send you the next chapter. I find that this encourages interaction between the students and myself. It also creates more of a “live” atmosphere for the student. Included in this e-mail are the first two chapters, which I have combined for the first quiz since they are both short chapters. Please read them and when you finish, please write to me to request the quiz.

MT is a profession with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client through a variety of touch techniques (American Massage Therapy Association Glossary of Terms). MT’s are trained in assessment, treatment planning, application of various massage techniques/modalities, communication/reporting with both patients and members of the health care team (Goldblatt 2009). MT use is widespread in the US, and is increasingly viewed as part of integrative health care. This is due to a rapidly expanding evidence base (Moyer & Dryden 2012, Moyer et al. 2009) and MT’s popularity for treating common health complaints. A 2007 National Institute of Health (NIH) survey of US adults found that MT was the the number one out-of-pocket practitioner-based expense and the second most commonly used practitioner-based CAM therapy -- nearly equalling the volume of chiropractic/osteopathic care (Barnes 2008).

Allopathy vs Homeopathy Natural + Energetic Medicine ____________________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________ I.J.M.S.H, Kálvária Tér 2,Budapest, Hungary Tel: +36 1 303 6043 To the Interested Reader The fields of natural medicine, homeopathy, and energetic medicine have received much attention in the last few years. The fear of synthetic chemicals, the ecological damage caused by the chemical industry, failure of antibiotics, realization of the chemical special interest groups ability to manipulate medicine, and an overall developing appreciation of nature, all have brought these forms of medicine into our awareness. Patent synthetic medicine dramatically profits from its synthetic patents, and then tries to get us to believe that the synthetic substance is the same as the natural. More and more people are doubting this. The vast body of research included in this reference on quantum medicine is dedicated to offering evidence that synthetics are not the same. There are writings on physics, quantum biology, historical accounts and lots of clinical research. The basic clinical hypothesis is: Can a medical practitioner use natural products in his practice to substitute for the synthetic medications? Can a doctor substitute behavioral and homeopathic medicines for synthetic drugs such as synthetic thyroid, NSAID, blood pressure medication, pain killers, antibiotics, ant ifungals, calmatives, and thousands of synthetic medications on the market today.
