The program starts promptly at 12:00 noon and ends at 6:00 PM. This year the theme of the Picnic will be "Folk Music Of The '60s" and will feature 2 interesting workshops. One panel will be composed of older musicians who were actually there at the time and were part of the scene. The other panel will be made up of younger musicians who were not there at the time but whose music was influenced by the artists of the'60s. There will be 20 musicians performing on the mainstage and they will be required to do one song from the '60s as part of their set. In addition there will be a separate area for singing and jamming that all can participate in. Bring whatever food you want for yourself; the Borderline will be selling soft drinks, water, soda, & juices at a nominal fee, Note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
