FAN BOOK MASTER COPY.Pdf
Dear Iain, There are so many reasons why I feel you deserve this fan book and more recognition for the work you do. Your ability to portray another person’s life and personality even when it is so far from your own has always enthralled me. I had already been a fan for many years when you were cast in Game of Thrones as Ser Jorah Mormont so I was very excited to see how you would portray Jorah. When the first series was broadcast neither I nor other fans knew how much we would be immersed in this wonderful programme and in particular your character Ser Jorah Mormont. Spending so much time involved in supporting someone, running the website, creating a place for fans to come together, creating the fan group as a fan, I feel this immense sense of pride for every achievement, every award that you receive or a show or stage play that you are involved in receives, every moment that you - the actor - makes someone’s life a little bit happier and brighter by just doing what you do best. You have also brought people together. For me, the owner of the iainglenfans.org and serjorahsarmy.com websites, and for the most loyal fans who play their part in regularly keeping the website and it’s gallery and social network pages updated and full of activity, it’s a story of friendship, from being strangers we’ve all become friends from all over the world. So this fan book is a massive thank you for all the work you do, for making characters such as our faves Jorah Mormont and Jack Taylor come alive. -

12Th & Delaware
12th & Delaware DIRECTORS: Rachel Grady, Heidi Ewing U.S.A., 2009, 90 min., color On an unassuming corner in Fort Pierce, Florida, it’s easy to miss the insidious war that’s raging. But on each side of 12th and Delaware, soldiers stand locked in a passionate battle. On one side of the street sits an abortion clinic. On the other, a pro-life outfit often mistaken for the clinic it seeks to shut down. Using skillful cinema-vérité observation that allows us to draw our own conclusions, Rachel Grady and Heidi Ewing, the directors of Jesus Camp, expose the molten core of America’s most intractable conflict. As the pro-life volunteers paint a terrifying portrait of abortion to their clients, across the street, the staff members at the clinic fear for their doctors’ lives and fiercely protect the right of their clients to choose. Shot in the year when abortion provider Dr. George Tiller was murdered in his church, the film makes these FromFrom human rights to popular fears palpable.
