On the morning of Sunday 12th May 2019, NaVCIS Freight officers working with investigators from SCiSCO Global Solutions and North Yorkshire Police attended at a location in Selby, North Yorkshire. At this time, a man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, stolen from a HGV in April. A large quantity of fashion items were recovered. Enquiries are on going.

The major MSA’s such as Welcome Break, RoadChef & Moto attend the regular security meetings which focus on lorry, freight and cargo offences.
The last meeting had representatives from various UK Police Forces - future meetings will be taken around the Country to ensure that Police officers based in other areas can attend.
The next meeting is at 10:00hrs., – 12.00hrs., on Wednesday 10th July 2019 at Woolley Edge Services, M1, Wakefield, WF4 4LQ .
