Car Park Rangers - Kremlin 2 : 6 Scorers: Clark Kent (18.), Zatanna Zatara (58.) ***Petr Niewitko (3., 40., 43.), Leonid Bungaloff (14., 59.), Boris N. Yeltsin (86.) Despite playing away and fielding a younger lineup, Kremlin won out very easily Wherever Evil-doers Roam. A great start to the season for them; less great for the Powers.
Mishima Zaibatsu - Twin Peaks Owls 1 : 0 Scorers: Randy Savage (17.) ***--- Twin Peaks Owls struggled severely with suspensions for this game, but still lost with only one goal away against last years' champions.
FC Mokum - Sleep Wanderers 2 : 0 Scorers: Sonko (26.), Eto'o (33.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Zelda FC Mokum finished in the 7th place of death last season - the 7th finisher has gotten relegated in the following season for the last five seasons, but this first match is a good step on the road to breaking that spell. The Night Terrors didn't even get a shot on goal.
FC Asskickers - Alphabet FC 1 : 0 Scorers: Wang Jinrei (70.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Tt, Xx FC Asskickers had to do without HC Loc in this game, and was slightly weaker than their visitors. However, The Letters were inefficient, and unable to convert anything, so the home team got away with two rather lucky points.
Blue Revolution - Gangsters United 1 : 1 Scorers: Kyun (44.) ***Tom Hagen (23.) Booked: --- ***Gudfaren, Tony Soprano, Vito Spetafore The Mobsters had two players suspended, but still played almost on par with Blue Revolution at Blue Moon, and got a point out of that.
Extreme - G.I.D. 0 : 0 Extreme had to rest Boularouz in this game due to a suspension, but still had a small play advantage stemming from the home crowd support. Still, the draw was probably the most fair result...

Kremlin - Extreme 4 : 0 Scorers: Boris N. Yeltsin (2., 17., 58.), Gerd-Liv Valla (48.) ***--- An easy win for Kremlin - this looks extremely promising so far! Table top after the first two rounds?
G.I.D. - Blue Revolution 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Kyun (63.) A slight play advantage for Blue Revolution, which they converted to a one goal win - in a match that could just as well have ended in a draw.
Gangsters United - FC Asskickers 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Wang Jinrei (62.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***1 Booked: Luca Brasi ***Bill Goldberg The visitors had all their players back and available, but still only managed to almost match the Mobsters' play. However, they were luckier, taking a very good speed from the get go in their first Premiership season... can they keep it up when the karma turns? Alphabet FC - FC Mokum 3 : 1 Scorers: Qq (86.), Tt (46.), Ww (7.) ***Terje Langli (17.) Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) Booked: Ww ***Koevermans The clearest win of the weekend so far; the Letters bulldozed the Mock-Ups completely, and the latter were lucky to escape with a two goal loss.
Sleep Wanderers - Mishima Zaibatsu 0 : 3 Scorers: --- ***Randy Savage (67., 89.), Prototype Jack (77.) Booked: Kazuki ***--- The away team did a lucky feed of Trion, thus getting an overstated scoreline in a game they nevertheless deserved to win.
Twin Peaks Owls - Car Park Rangers 0 : 0 The Bookhouse Boys dominated this game completely, but the Powers were exceedingly lucky in snatching a point.

Erkrath Gladiators - First Men of Rome 0 : 0 Booked: Felix Grabowski ***--- Two former rivals from the Premiership face off at Kampfbahn an der Gink, and only a good chunk of luck on the Lunatics' part kept the Toga Boys from winning this one...
Slartibartfast FC - Greensleeves United 4 : 2 Scorers: Old Thrashbarg (7., 42.), Jarvis Nunderway (40.) ***Henry Hallon (89.), George Robinson (5.) Penalties: 1 ***- Sent off: --- ***Dennis Farrell (35.) Greensleeves continue struggling away, and Slartibartfast FC took a deserved win. Will the away team remain strong at home this season, though?
Desassossego Blues - Studs First FC 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***David Batty (55.), Wayne Rooney (86.) Booked: --- ***Wayne Rooney A game clearly identified as a key game for the Legbreakers, as they went at it violently and were lucky to escape with just one card. Still, the game was markedly more even than the scoreline indicates.
AZ - The Ages 0 : 0 The Ages only fielded ten men, and were thoroughly outplayed by AZ. However, with no goals scored, only one point will go home to Alkmaar...
Thinkers FC - Tamriel Athletic 1 : 1 Scorers: Blaise Pascal (89.) ***Falanu Hlaalu (36.) Booked: Arthur Schopenhauer ***--- Rather even between freshly promoted Thinkers FC and their visitors Tamriel Athletic. The away team was slightly closer to winning, but the draw was the only fair result.
Fjortoft's Friends - Feyenoord 2 : 0 Scorers: Charly (35.), Zico (77.) ***--- Booked: Hup-Hup-Chef ***--- A strong win by Fjortoft's Friends against Feyenoord's more experienced lineup. Probably will improve on their 9th place from last season?
Lexington League Match day 2 ======
First Men of Rome - Fjortoft's Friends 3 : 3 Scorers: Wotagoalus (7., 71.), Tortuous Convolvulus (32.) ***Mokka (8., 30.), Jan Sen (55.) Booked: --- ***Charly, Jan Sen The Toga Boys are not having the luck on their side so far. They should clearly have won this game, but the Eagles were ridiculously efficient, scoring three goals with almost no play.
Feyenoord - Thinkers FC 2 : 0 Scorers: Ono (73.), Charisteas (54.) ***--- Thinkers FC's young lineup was no match for Feyenoord's players. In fact, the visitors didn't get a single shot on goal.
Tamriel Athletic - AZ 2 : 4 Scorers: Bumph gra-Gash (33., 40.) ***Opdam (68.), Schaars (33.), Baretto (44.) Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Eliza Pierrane, Mzunchend ***--- After disappointing efficiency in the first game, AZ sorted that out for this one. They were the stronger team in this game too, and here they won rather comfortably. The Ages - Desassossego Blues 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Chevalier de Pas (15.) Booked: --- ***Charles R Anon Still only playing ten players, the Ages were crushed again. Their opponents were once again terribly inefficient, but with the amount of chances the Blues generated, a goal did actually slip in.
Studs First FC - Slartibartfast FC 9 : 1 Scorers: David Batty (7 goal$s), Paul Gascoigne (5.), Steven Gerrard (13.) *** Humma Kavula (76.) Booked: Martin Keown ***--- The better team had the home advantage, fought harder and were luckier. The result? A huge scoreline.
Greensleeves United - Erkrath Gladiators 1 : 2 Scorers: Jimmy Clayton (86.) ***Ragnar Huehnerbein (81.), Felix Grabowski (55.) Booked: --- ***Guenay Attes, Ragnar Huehnerbein Greensleeves are normally rock solid at home, but freshly relegated Lunatics were too much for them to handle. The Lunatics even was the best team on the field!
Berkeley Conference Match day 1 ======
Ladida FC - Saturday Morning FC 8 : 0 Scorers: Pixie (8., 19., 41.), Princess (7., 51.), Blossoms (10., 59.), Dixie (33.) ***--- Booked: Donna Hayward ***--- Saturday Morning missed Elmer Fudd for this game, and were thus utterly unable both at being vewy vewy quiet and at hunting wabbits. Naturally, Ladida FC won out easily.
Call of Cthulhu - Brazil Star Conquerors 0 : 0 Booked: --- ***Roque Junior The home team had the upper hand due to the support from the home crowd, but since what little play that generated didn't result in goals, we have a goalless draw here.
PSV - Springfield United 2 : 0 Scorers: Kromkamp (80.) ***--- Penalties: 1 (1 missed) ***- Sent off: --- ***Maggie Simpson (48.) PSV struggled hard last season, but seems to have regained their feet in Berkeley, although Springfield's fighting spirit in reality made this game a toss-up.
Sheffield Thursday - Sjokoladen BK 0 : 0 Booked: --- ***Cuba Five points for Trion from the away team, but Sheffield Thursday still weren't much better, and didn't manage to take advantage of that.
FC United - Coventry 7 : 0 Scorers: Adie Orr (9., 86.), Gerard Pique (62.), George 'simply the' Best (28.), Gary Neville (32.), Giuseppe Rossi (22.) ***--- Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Phillip Jones FC United fielded a full senior team, and didn't have much trouble with the Sky Blues' young lineup. At least this gives the home team a good start in a new division!
Harestua IL - Dummys 1 : 1 Scorers: Hvard Wien (4.) ***--- Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Eivind Juul Pedersen, Lars Magnus Tollefsrud, Petter Bentzen ***--- Both teams were weakened by suspensions, but despite Dummys being stronger on paper, Harestua IL fought themselves to a deserved draw.

Penalties: 1 ***- (1 missed) Sent off: Dr Elephant (76.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Eivind Juul Pedersen, Lars Magnus Tollefsrud A game the 2Ds really wanted to win, and coupling up home advantage, an older lineup and rough play, it wasn't easy for Harestua to keep up with them.
Dummys - FC United 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Wesley Brown (10.) Booked: Robbie Lamer ***--- FC United's senior lineup take another victory, this time away against Dummys. A good start to the season, thus, but how will they fare when the youngsters take over?
Coventry - Sheffield Thursday 2 : 2 Scorers: Hamilton Blushham (37., 48.) ***Matt Wise (36.), Claudio Vargas (17.) Booked: --- ***Chris Saenz Despite fielding a younger lineup, the Sky Blues were the better team in this game. However, with no fighting spirit against a team of Owls fighting like Lions, they only managed one point.
Sjokoladen BK - PSV 1 : 1 Scorers: Troi Ka (80.) ***Alex (81.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Sent off: --- ***Rose Walker (71.) Another five points for Trion from Nam Nam; I guess they like both eating and giving snacks! PSV fought their way to an upper hand, but Sjokoladen were a bit fortunate - unlike earlier seasons - and got a lucky point.
Springfield United - Call of Cthulhu 2 : 1 Scorers: Homer Simpson (65.) ***Bokrug (66.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Kwik-E-Mart ***Bokrug The Lurking Fear made this a match with rough play; without it, they wouldn't have gotten a single shot on goal! Springfield United fought well too, however, thus saving themselves both points.
Brazil Star Conquerors - Ladida FC 3 : 4 Scorers: Renato (5., 40.), Emerson (76.) ***Donna Hayward (47.), Dixie (18.), Pixie (4.), Blossoms (53.) Booked: --- ***Paris Despite playing away, Ladida FC were by far the strongest team in this matchup. Only winning with one goal was pretty abysmal luck...
Kirkwood Showdown Match day 1 ======
Aa Fotballklubb - the Professors of Jazz 3 : 0 Scorers: Javier Mascherano (33., 43.), Xabi Alonso (55.) ***--- And what a start for Aa Fotballklubb! Finding a strong strategy, they were up by two already at half time, and Xabi Alonso made the score even more comfortable early in the second half.
Al Rassan United - Frackers FC 9 : 8 Scorers: Yoshimitsu (13., 25., 39., 63., 73.), Tarif ibn Hassan (19., 46., 84.), Ammar ibn Khairan (67.) ***Hotdog (60., 66., 77.), Tyrol (27., 51.), Apollo (21., 71.), Starbuck (41.) Booked: Alvar de Pellino ***Tyrol An incredibly entertaining game! A rather strange result, though; Frackers FC had a lot more play, and deserved to win.
St. Helens - Dispelliarmus FC 5 : 5 Scorers: Harry Space (4., 27., 45., 65.), Hugh Nogoal (75.) ***Angus Brollyridge (49., 79.), Clara Finningwater (29.), Basil Bubblelare (31.), Walter Pidgepure (63.) An even and entertaining game, with the scoreline depicting the game very well. Perhaps the Ugly feel slightly disappointed after their team wasting a two goal lead, but it's nevertheless a good result and a good start for them.
NotReallyNewBremenCyberdruids - The Potato People 4 : 2 Scorers: Maurice P. Schmidt (65., 71.), Michaela Di Vani (86.), Samuel on the Roof (13.) ***Brown Potato (66.), Peach Potato (6.) Booked: --- ***Baby Potato A rather comfortable win for the Cyberdruids; Kirkwood is bound to be way too easy for them this season, unless something extraordinary happens.
Interchangeable Parts - Team Tobbi 3 : 0 Scorers: D1 (11., 50., 88.) ***--- Booked: D1, M4 ***Paul Red All of 14 points for Trion from Team Tobbi - and Interchangeable Parts were only too happy to take advantage of that, with a fine and solid win.
Gamblers United - Dead Dino Storage 1 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Nemo (18.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Green Carnation, The Small Faces Freshly generated Gamblers United managed to be the stronger team at Dice Arena, but couldn't score from normal play and only saved the draw on a well-placed penalty. Kirkwood Showdown Match day 2 ======the Professors of Jazz - Gamblers United 0 : 0 Booked: Count Basie ***--- Gamblers United are doing just fine against the established teams; in this game too getting a small upper hand. However, it seems they need to practice scoring goals from actual play - or maybe they just need to get some time to get used to the professional league...
Dead Dino Storage - Interchangeable Parts 7 : 2 Scorers: Tad Morose (54., 61., 72.), Wolverine (27., 48., 83.), The Small Faces (8.) ***M2 (57.), M4 (16.) The Parts were weakened by suspensions for this game, and with the home team picking the better strategy, a solid home win was bound to happen.
Team Tobbi - NotReallyNewBremenCyberdruids 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Samuel in the Sewers (27.) Booked: Roy 'Keano' Keane ***--- 'Just' 12 points lost to the 3:1 rule for Team Tobbi in this game, but that was more than enough to ensure an easy victory for their visitors.
The Potato People - St. Helens 1 : 0 Scorers: Brown Potato (23.) ***--- Battle of the fresh teams, but not two fresh managers. Potato manager Espen Brill showed he still knows how to pull off those 1-0 victories!
Dispelliarmus FC - Al Rassan United 6 : 2 Scorers: Albert Blackwater (25., 38., 73.), Basil Bubblelare (13., 66.), David Pubbertere (78.) ***Almalik (25.), Tarif ibn Hassan (83.) Dispelliarmus FC show they mean business with a fine and deserved win home at Toadwarts School of Sorcery. Can they fight themselves back into the Berkeley Conference?
Frackers FC - Aa Fotballklubb 13 : 2 Scorers: Hotdog (26., 49., 62., 71., 79.), Apollo (6., 57., 83.), Billy (14., 81.), Tyrol (14., 86.), Starbuck (42.) ***Javier Mascherano (14.), Momo Sissoko (72.) Alright, that's the eleventh season started! The timeliness was terrible this weekend, that's why the report is out this late. However, with a 20 hour extension, I received orders for 47 of the 48 teams. Don't count on extensions to happen in the future, though... staying up most of the last two nights to adjudicate didn't really invite repetition!
There are no luck statistics this issue, as the output is unintelligible and I don't have time to try to find a way to fix it.
Kremlin have taken charge of the Premiership from the get go with two wins and great goal difference, but are joined at the top by Mishima Zaibatsu and FC Asskickers. Sleep Wanderers are the only to still lack points, whereas five teams have one point.
In Lexington League, the promotion zone is made up of Studs First FC, Fjortoft's Friends and AZ, with 4, 3 and 3 points, respectively. Erkrath Gladiators also have three points, but with weaker goal difference. Greensleeves United got the worst start with no points, while The Ages, Tamriel Athletics and Thinkers FC all have one point.
We have a tag-team on top of Berkeley; Ladida FC and FC United both have four points. PSV follow with three. At the bottom, we find five points all with one point.
NotReallyNewBremenCyberdruids claim the lead in Kirkwood Showdown as expected, being the only team with four points. Dead Dino Storage and Dispelliarmus FC follow one point behind. The relegation spot is held by Team Tobbi without points, with one point to catch up to St. Helens and the Professors of Jazz.
