Empiezo este proyecto con mucha ilusión. Tras años planeando empezar una aventura como esta y meses de planificación, creo que el inicio del año 2021 es el momento ideal para dar el salto y lanzarme a cumplir este sueño. Este fanzine pretende convertirse en mi terapia y espero sea un oasis, donde podamos olvidarnos de todo el caos exterior y pasar un rato agradable descubriendo nuevos juegos o hablando de nuestros títulos favoritos. ¡A por todas! Cuando anunciaron Persona 5 Royal dudamos de si valdría la pena volver a comprarlo y jugarlo de nuevo. Hacía menos de 2 años que finalizamos Persona 5 “original”. Con la cantidad de juegos que aparecen constantemente y la lista infinita de pendientes por jugar, pocas veces vale la pena permitirse rejugar un juego. Y menos si lo hemos terminado recientemente. Pero tras leer artículos en los que detallaban el nuevo contenido, nos decidimos a comprarlo... y aquí os explicamos porque creemos fue una muy buena idea. Aunque siempre preferimos las versiones físicas, la versión "Royal" la compramos en formato digital ya que fue un capricho impulsivo. En cuestión de minutos estaba lista para jugar en nuestra PS4... y a eso que nos pusimos de inmediato. Empezó la magia. Desde el instante en que se carga la pantalla de inicio y escuchas el tema principal, ya te sientes enganchado. La banda sonora de Persona 5 se ha convertido en una de nuestras favoritas. Es escucharla y sentirte "en marcha". Persona 3 y Persona 4 tienen unas grandísimas bandas sonoras pero, para nosotros, la de Persona 5 está un escalón por encima. P Á G I N A 4 P O S A D A R P G 0 La lista de novedades y mejoras es larga: mazmorras, personajes, cinemáticas, personas, música, mecánicas, eventos, etc. No es un DLC. No es una actualización. Es mucho más que eso. Empezamos partida nueva y... desde el inicio ya vemos los primeros cambios. Nuevos personajes desde el comienzo de la aventura y una cinemática inicial "actualizada". En el primer instante ya sientes que Persona 5 Royal es realmente una mejora respecto a la versión original. Con novedades (más o menos sutiles o impactantes) desde el primer momento. La lista de innovaciones y mejoras es larga: mazmorras, personajes, cinemáticas, personas, música, mecánicas, sistema de mementos, nuevos eventos, etc. No es un DLC. No es una actualización. Es mucho más que eso. Normalmente cuando hay una actualización o DLCs en un juego, se disfruta del nuevo contenido una vez terminas la historia original. Algunas veces puede haber incluso retoques en la historia, guion o interfaz. En el caso de Persona 5 Royal no hablamos de una actualización de ese tipo. Es más bien un Persona 5 "Total" en el que disfrutas de nuevo contenido y novedades desde el primer minuto de juego. Por ejemplo, un nuevo personaje aparece desde el inicio y ya influye en gran medida en la historia y además vemos los rostros de varios personajes importantes. Issue 27 | 234 P Á G I N A 5 P O S A D A R P G 0 Y por eso, como comentamos al inicio, aunque nunca rejugamos juegos actuales, estamos muy contentos de haber decidido saltarnos esa norma con Persona 5 Royal... Es una nueva experiencia o, si preferís, una experiencia mejorada. Si te enganchaste a Persona 5 "original" y dudas en comprarte la versión Royal... no lo dudes más. Cuando te lo permita el bolsillo hazte con esta maravilla de JRPG porque volverás a disfrutarlo y además con bastantes novedades que en muchos casos te sorprenderán y que te harán el viaje mucho más ameno. Si no has jugado a Persona 5 pero estás interesado... no lo dudes más. Cuando te sea posible hazte con Persona 5 Royal por que lo vas a disfrutar y además te garantiza muchísimas horas de juego (nuestra primera partida fueron más de 120 horas). En resumen, Persona 5 Royal es un grandísimo JRPG, de los mejores que nos ha ofrecido PlayStation 4. Tanto si eres fan de la saga como si este es tu primer Persona, lo vas a disfrutar de la misma manera. Además, la versión Royal introduce una gran cantidad de mejoras; tantas que, en nuestra humilde opinión, justifica comprar esta versión aunque ya poseas la "original". Para acabar, si te ha gustado Persona 5 Royal o si no lo has podido jugar por que no posees una PS4, te recomendamos Persona 4 que ahora también está disponible en PC. Un saludo y ¡a darle duro!
