Transport for NSW The new and lower bus network Including the new bus service

Commencing 26 November 2017 Changes to the northern beaches and lower north shore bus network Travelling on the northern beaches and lower north shore will undergo a major transformation from 26 November with the introduction of a new bus network delivering more frequent and reliable services throughout the region. Coinciding with the implementation of the new turn-up- and-go B-Line service, new timetables and routes have been developed to provide better bus connections for the northern beaches and lower north shore communities and overall improvements to the network. The new northern beaches and lower north shore bus network provides more than 3,200 additional weekly bus services, including over 2,000 weekly B-Line services. As part of these public transport improvements, new road infrastructure is being delivered to help local traffic flow more easily and make bus services more reliable. Further road improvements, along with the planned extension of the B-Line route to Newport, will be progressively completed throughout 2018 when the full benefits of the program will be realised.
