CAVALIERS AND WARRIORS PRESENTED KIDS WITH GIFTS PRIOR TO CHRISTMAS DAY GAME: ‘Tis the season to spread good cheer, and the Cavs did just that for a group of Cleveland-area children on Sunday. The Cavs welcomed to the game 32 kids (ages 8-12) from the City of Cleveland Recreation Department for a “Christmas Day Gift Giveaway.” The participating kids took the floor with both the Cavs and Warriors for the national anthem. Following the anthem, the players and head coaches from both teams gave the kids their presents. Each child received a brand-new Chromebook and a Cavs Fathead. With new gifts in hand, the kids and their chaperones enjoyed the Cavs-Warriors matchup in suites provided by the Cavs. The team also provided transportation for the group to and from The Q that day. The Christmas Day Gift Giveaway was part of a NBA-wide initiative.
