Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley, “Broadway’s Golden Couple” (S.F. Chronicle), present songs from both the “Great White Way” and the “Great American Songbook.” Performing songs they introduced on Broadway in roles they originated; RAGTIME, PASSION, KISS ME, KATE (revival of course), THE FULL MONTY, CURTAINS, THE VISIT as well as popular standards from their many TV appearances, cabaret, concert hall and symphony performances around the world.
A critically-acclaimed performer and three-time Tony Award®-nominee, Marin Mazzie has been heard in many of the country’s major symphony halls, cabaret and concert venues, and has been seen starring in some of the most memorable musicals on the Broadway stage and London’s West End. Mazzie most recently starred on Broadway as Anna Leonowens in THE KING AND I and as Helen Sinclair in Woody Allen’s BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, for which she received the Outer Critics Circle Award. She received Tony® and Drama Desk nominations and an Outer Critics Circle Award for her performance as Lilli/Katherine in the hit revival of KISS ME, KATE, and later received an Olivier Award nomination when she made her West End debut in the show. Other Broadway credits include: ENRON, Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, RAGTIME, PASSION, MAN OF LA MANCHA, INTO THE WOODS, BIG RIVER and OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Jason Danieley is a Broadway actor, singer, concert performer and recording artist. Nominated for Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Theatre World awards for CANDIDE and CURTAINS, Danieley was most recently seen on Broadway in THE VISIT. Other Broadway appearances include NEXT TO NORMAL and THE FULL MONTY. Danieley performed Off-Broadway in THE TROJAN WOMEN: A LOVE STORY and the world premieres of DREAM TRUE and FLOYD COLLINS. He has had leading roles in A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN and STRIKE UP THE BAND. As a concert soloist, Danieley has appeared with many of the country's leading orchestras including the New York, Boston and Philly Pops, L.A. and New York Philharmonics. Concert highlights include many PBS Great Performances and Live from Lincoln Center television appearances including Enoch Snow in Carousel (NYPhil – Emmy nominated), Lt. Cable in South Pacific (Carnegie Hall – Emmy nominated) and Sondheim!: The Birthday Concert (NYPhil – Emmy nominated).
