This project has seen the bringing back into daily use of the former Hunter Water Corporation head quarters in Hunter Street Newcastle. The building has gained a new lease of life from the vision of the design team to create an outstanding new and vibrant fitness facility. Graph has matched the workmanship of the past with a quality refurbishment that achieves a completely new experience including modern, sleek finishes that contrast favourably with the building’s historic elements. The existing amenities within the building have been largely demolished to provide for the increased patronage yet all the heritage features within the building have been retained. The construction works were programmed to be completed within a functioning commercial precinct and were undertaken with minimal disruption to the commercial tenants. The refurbished building now contains all the facilities you would expect in a modern fitness facility, including specialist facilities and facilities for minors. The construction of a display house is of major importance to any residential development. The selection of Graph to construct the Caves Village Display home by Cebac is an acknowledgement that the company’s attention to detail and quality workmanship would ensure a superb outcome worthy of presentation to prospective purchasers of the remaining homes. Each of the houses to be built on the site are different meaning that a production line approach to constructionis not possible. The finished product blends superbly with the overall Caves Beach development of the hotel and beach suites. The display house uses similar natural products to those used within the overall development and the craftsmanship on display is of the highest quality.
