This year I’m taking you all the way back to the beginning 2-7 • SCHEDULE and a picture of the very fi rst car I ever • HIGHLIGHTS rode in – my parents’ 1966 Charger. This • MAP TO DRAG STRIP car might explain how I got my Mopar addiction because I can tell you that my 8-9 CHRYSLER GROUP parents aren’t into cars yet I’ve loved them for as long as I can remember. It’s 10-11 also my personal connection to the ’66 SPECIAL GUESTS and ’67 Charger Reunion that’s happen- ED BUCZESKIE, EVENT MANAGER ing here this weekend. 13 GIVEAWAYS In addition to the fi rst generation Chargers, we are also highlighting the IROC R/ Ts, Spirit R/Ts and Phantom R/Ts. To add to all of that, we have arranged an amazing 15 display of horsepower in Building T. The cars range from old school hot rods to late CAR CLUBS model muscle machines and every genre of modifi ed cars in between. We have a ’71 19-23 ‘Cuda that’s a time capsule from the mid-‘70s ISCA World of Wheels show car circuit, INVITATIONAL Resto Mods, racecars and a 3,000+ horsepower street car that’s being built for Drag DISPLAY VEHICLES Week. There are also several perfectly restored cars, the latest “what if” creation from Gary and Pam Beineke and plenty more. 30-31 (center) The Carlisle Chrysler Nationals is always full of celebrities and this year we have more MAP than ever. Television and movie stars include John Schneider, Cindy Williams, William 35 Ostrander and Paul LeMat. All are courtesy of the Christine Car Club. We also have drag SURVIVORS racing legends Bill Stiles, Herb McCandless and Sam Auxier, Jr. automotive TV show hosts Lou Santiago, Kevin Tetz of Trucks!, Dan Woods of Chop Cut Rebuild and Mark 38 PARTNER PROFILES Fletcher of Classic Restos. If you haven’t heard of that show, it’s probably because it airs in Australia and New Zealand. Mark will be fi lming this weekend so you could end up 39-47 on TV Down Under!
