The view:

The nature of mind is seen as the cause of Enlightenment from the Sutrayana view.

The nature of mind is seen as Buddha from the Vajrayana view. The Path of Mind.

The Path of Wisdom comprises of two steps:

The path of wisdom appearance, and

The path of wisdom essence. Within Vajrayana, the ground is divided in two:

The ground of the view is seeing that the nature of mind comprises of three kayas.

The ground of the path is profound trust in: karma, renunciation, bodhicitta, and pure perception. The three states of existence are primordially Buddha; and phenomena, ིད་གམ་ཡེ་ནས་སངས་ས་ཤིང་། ། without exclusion, are not other than ཐམས་ཅད་མ་ས་ཆོས་སོ་ཅོག ། the state of Buddha. སངས་ས་ཉིད་ལས་གཞན་མ་ཡིན། ། Phenomena other than the state of Buddha will not be found even by the སངས་ས་ཉིད་ལས་གཞན་པའི་ཆོས། ། Buddha himself. སངས་ས་ཉིད་ིས་མི་བེས་སོ། ། Expressing this pleases all the tathāgathas. What are the necessary qualities for practicing Vajrayana correctly?

Understanding the overview presented so far.

Knowing your own faults and wishing to transform them.

Knowing how to practice your path and hitting the essence.

Understanding the journey and how to progress. The stages of the path that bring about realization are innumerable. ༔
