This list of type specimens of recent Marginellidae is based on

S. material present in the collections of the late Giorgio Coen (HUJ-

Coen) and the late Arthur Blok (HUJ-Blok). Both collections now form part of the mollusc collection of the Hebrew University of Jeruzalem since 1953 and 1974 respectively. all which The list includes a total of 17 entries, syntypes, are

of Each arranged alphabetically according to the names the species. entry contains the reference to the original publication, type locality,

number of specimens and collection number.

In order to expedite the publication of this catalogue, we do not

consider at this moment the status of the different taxa.

The list is published in compliance with Recommendation 72D of

the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature.
