On Friday and Saturday, Feb. 14 and 15, the Indian Wells Valley Association for Retarded Citizens will administer their last wood sale at China Lake. The mid-winter wood sale is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday. As before, the sale will be held at the recycling facility off oflwo lima Road. COMMENTARY Sale is by volume only and costs $3 a load. While there is a lot of wood available, buyers are urged to come early as they might want to take more than one load. Buyers must furnish their own tools. Don't forget a red flag if picking up long pieces. Several Question buyers passed up large pieces last time because they didn't have the necessary tools.
