Mae ein sioe yn un fawr i gyflawni pob dim mewn un diwrnod, felly fe fyddwn yn falch o unrhyw help a gawn ar ddydd y sioe. Rhaid diolch o galon i’r rheini awnaeth helpu y llynedd ac os oes rhywun arall yn medru cynnig help eleni, efallai byddwch mor garedig â chysylltu! Dymuniadau gorau, Alan (Davies) Ysgrifennydd

Dear Exhibitors, On behalf of Dyfed Poultry Society’s Committee it is a pleasure to present our 44th Welsh National Schedule. Please note that the Closing Date is set for the 26th October or when Brithdir Hall’s capacity is reached i.e. whichever is the sooner. The Welsh National, ever more popular, is now a very large show for everything to be done in one day. (Other large shows spread the work-load over two!) Getting all exhibits judged, Section Champions to Championship Row for the Championship Judge to sort, Main Awards and Trophy winners identified all in a very short time is no easy task! Grateful appreciation is expressed therefore, to those fanciers who assisted at our last show by taking on clerking and stewarding positions. If there is someone else out there who could help on Show Day then it really would be appreciated if you could get in touch. Hopefully, our 44th Welsh National will be one of enjoyment and success for all. Best wishes, Alan (Davies) Hon. Sec. CINIO’R SIOE THE WELSH NATIONAL SHOW DINNER The Show Dinner is once again at the popular Beggars Reach Hotel just south of Haverfordwest. The hotel’s website is at www.beggars-reach.com. Kindly use the code ‘DPS’ if making a booking on this site. The menu can be found at the rear of the schedule and is priced at £19.50 per person. Please mark your choices on the Entry Form. Presentation of Trophies Due to the Welsh National being a one-day event, time is in short supply to get everything sorted by boxing time. The Welsh National has a large number of trophies and to prevent lengthy Presentations at the end of the Show only the Trophies Numbered 1 to 21 will be presented by the President. All other trophies may be collected and signed for from the Trophy Stewards earlier in the afternoon once winners have been identified.

N.B. It is only after the presentation of these 21 trophies has been carried out that Exhibitors may begin to box their exhibits and gather their Prize Cards to take to the Office to collect any Prize Money won. SCHEDULE OF CLASSES FOR BOTH SATURDAY’S BRITISH CALL DUCK CLUB MEMBERS’ 22nd CLUB SHOW & SUNDAY’S REGIONAL SHOW FOR CALL DUCKS AT THE WELSH NATIONAL ARE IDENTICAL. (**A SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY’S TRIPLE EVENT OF CLUB SHOW, SALE & AUCTION FOR CALL DUCKS IS SENT SEPARATELY TO BCDC MEMBERS)

Due to this identical Classification, exhibits which have been entered to both Saturday’s Club Show and Sunday’s Regional Show do not have to be moved to a different pen. The only stipulation that needs to be adhered to is that all Saturday’s prize cards, rosettes & any other awards must be removed at the conclusion of the Club Show on Saturday in order to prepare a clean slate for Sunday’s judging.

ENTRY FEES (per pen)** a. Saturday’s Call Club Members’ Club Show only - £1.00 b. Call Club’s Club Show & Welsh National Regional - £1.50 if a Dyfed Poultry Society Member or £3.00 if not c. Welsh National Regional only – Dyfed Poultry Society Members £1.00 or £2.00 Non-members. **Re Entry Form: Please tick the days it is intended to show each exhibit

PENNING TIMES: See Timetable (inside front cover) for Sunday’s Welsh National penning times but Saturday’s Club Show entries, etc. need to be penned either between 5.00pm and 7.00pm on Friday 15th or by 11.45 on Saturday 16th November.

Classes, pens & pen numbers are the same for both shows.
