The CLBM placement cell aims at making available quality placement opportunities for students and at maintaining good relation with Human Resource Departments of the Industry and Research Organizations. The cell liaises with various industrial establishments, corporate houses which conduct campus interviews and select diploma, graduate and post-graduate pharmacy students. The Training & Placement cell provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews. The cell interacts with many industries in the country, of which nearly 10 companies visited the Placement campus for holding campus interviews this year. Tuberculosis awareness campaign ervice to the peoples is a service to God … being our motto, we successfully completed the Tuberculosis Awareness Campaign at public places and also at various schools. Campaign was conducted in more than 12 schools including Sgovernment and private schools in and around Chennai. The campaign was also conducted at public places like beaches and malls. The main vision of this program was to educate the public and students about the cause and prevention of Tuberculosis. We received excellent appreciation and overwhelming response from the public for this camping.

Free Medical Camp WOMENof the WORLD

elebration of Women of the World Every year, 8th March is celebrated around the world as CInternational Women’s Day. We planned a program of information and fun for our students to mark the special Registration in progress at the medical camp day for women. The focus was on women and health and s a part of our continuing service to the people, balancing success in career and home . The chief guest every year our college organizes a free medical of the day was Dr.Manimozhi, Department of History, camp. This year the college in association with Ethiraj College and it was a great learning experience for A one and all. Chettinad Health City, organized a free medical camp on 8th July, 2012. Doctor from various specialties like General Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology and Diabetology supported this camp. Over 300 members has registered and benefited out of this camp. The success of this camp is attributed to the enthusiastic volunteers of the Rotaract club along with the staff coordinators, D.Sivaraman and R. Vijayakumar.
