El Consejo Directivo del Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club conforme a las disposiciones de su Estatuto, convoca a los socios Honorarios, Activos, Vitalicios, Cadetes Individuales y Cadetes Familiares mayores de 21 años con una antigüedad de 5 años ininterrumpida, y Vitalicios-Colaboradores (éstos últimos con las limitaciones del literal h del art. 40 del Estatuto Social) para la Asamblea General Ordinaria que se realizará en la Sede Social sita en la calle Eduardo J. Couture número 6401, de esta ciudad, el día 20 de junio de 2020 a las 10:00 horas en primera citación y a las 10:30 horas en segunda citación, para considerar el siguiente ORDEN DEL DÍA 1º) Considerar la Memoria y Balance Anual al 31 de marzo de 2020 presentada por el Consejo Directivo conjuntamente con el Informe de la Comisión Fiscal. 2º) Fijar las cuotas de ingreso de socios Vitalicios-Colaboradores, de ingreso y sociales mensuales para el ejercicio, pudiendo autorizar al Consejo Directivo a fijar las mismas durante el período de su mandato. 3°) Fijar la fecha de la elección del Consejo Directivo, la Comisión Fiscal y la Comisión Electoral (Arts. 60, 61), la que se realizará en el mes de agosto. 4º) Designar dos Asambleístas para firmar conjuntamente con el Presidente y el Secretario el Acta de la Asamblea. Tienen derecho a asistir con voz y voto en las Asambleas sólo los socios Honorarios, Activos, Vitalicios, Cadetes Individuales y Cadetes Familiares mayores de 21 años con una antigüedad de 5 años ininterrumpida, y Vitalicios-Colaboradores con las limitaciones del Art. 40 lit. h. El socio que esté suspendido no tiene derecho a asistir con voz y voto (Arts. 45 numerales 2 y 3, y 47 del Estatuto Social). Se recuerda que los socios podrán comparecer a la Asamblea mediante apoderado debidamente facultado por el socio habilitado para votar (Arts. 7 y 75 del Estatuto Social). Los Señores Asociados tendrán a su disposición, los primeros días de junio, la Memoria a considerar en nuestro sitio web, y a partir del día 10 de junio podrán pasar a retirar el Balance por la Secretaría del Club. Los tres puntos fueron considerados por la Asamblea y aprobados por unanimidad de los presentes. Carlos Bercianos, Presidente del Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club, expresó unas palabras y luego solicitó un minuto de silencio en homenaje al Cr. Luis A. Givogre, ex Presidente Honorario, que falleció el 27 de mayo pasado. En el trascurso del ejercicio se realizaron ajustes de las cuotas sociales en los meses de julio 2019 y enero de 2020, en ambas instancias se aplicó un porcentaje de incremento similar a la evolución del IPC del semestre inmediato anterior. Premio por antigüedad El Club premia a los socios bonificando sus cuotas sociales en virtud de su antigüedad en los registros. Los porcentajes de descuentos 16 van desde un 3% a un 33% y se benefician con esta medida quienes cuentan con un mínimo de cinco años de antigüedad como socio. * Beneficio para clientes HSBC

    15 September 2019 Davis Cup Group I and Group II results The ITF has announced the results from the Davis Cup Group I and Group II ties taking place on 13-15 September. Nineteen ties took place this weekend. The 12 Group I winning nations will contest the Davis Cup by Rakuten Qualifiers on March 2020, while the losers will play in the new World Group I Play-offs alongside the 12 winners of Group II ties. The weekend’s results mean that, to date, 10 nations – Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Korea Republic, Slovakia, Sweden, Uruguay and Uzbekistan – have secured a place in March’s Qualifiers. Hungary’s Europe/Africa Group I tie with Ukraine was suspended due to bad light with Attila Balazs of Hungary leading Ilya Marchenko 64 5-5 in the decisive fifth match. The tie will be completed on Monday. The remaining Group I tie between Pakistan and India is scheduled to take place in November. Meanwhile, eight Group II ties were completed this weekend, with Bolivia, Chinese Taipei, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Slovenia, South Africa and Turkey all securing a place in next year’s World Group I Play- offs. In addition to the Group I and Group II ties, three regional group events were held this week, with all three concluding on Saturday. In Europe Group III four teams (Estonia, Greece, Latvia and Poland) have gained promotion to March’s World Group II Play-offs, where they will be joined by Kenya and Tunisia, who were victorious in Africa Group III. In Asia/Oceania Group IV, Jordan and Pacific Oceania won promotion to Group III.
