Game Notes:

* The Riverhounds (1-5-3) look to get back on track against the Charleston Battery (5-3-3) at home. The teams have already met once this season, battling to a 1-1 draw in April.

* Winning their first game of the season last time out at home, a 2-1 result over Toronto FC II, the Hounds will attempt to nab back-to-back home victories for the first time since July 4, 2015 – first defeating FC Montreal, 1-0, on June 20, then shutting out the Red Bulls II, 3-0, on the holiday.

* Charleston enters the match fourth in the Eastern Conference and just recently saw its 29-game home-unbeaten streak ended at the hands of Louisville City FC, 0-2, this past weekend. The defeat also ended a three-game winning streak for the Battery.

* Goalkeeper Mauricio Vargas has been stellar since taking over the starting position prior to the FC Cincinnati match on May 14. Notching six saves on seven shots this past weekend, Vargas’ save percentage of .842 is fourth-best in the USL amongst keepers who have played in three or more matches this season – his 16 saves is also tops amongst that group as well. * Pittsburgh next heads to Richmond to face the Kickers (4-4-3) for the first time this season on Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m. Last season saw the teams draw against each other in Pittsburgh, 1-1, and then the Hounds take the road date by a score of 2-1 with tallies from Lebo Moloto and Miro Cabrilo.
