PDEA and PNP score anew as MOL 1 kilo of Marijuana was seized in Solana, .

On October 24, 2018 at about 6:30 in the morning, joint elements of PDEA RO II and Solana Police Station conducted buy-bust operation in Rizal St., Centro South East, Solana, Cagayan which resulted in the arrest of Rolando Balubal y Mabborang, 41 years old, married, and a resident of Rizal St., Centro South East, Solana, Cagayan.

Confiscated during the operation was one (1) piece of green eco bag containing yellow plastic bag containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing MOL 1 kilogram with an estimated market value of Eight Thousand Pesos (Php8,000.00.). Case for violation of Sections 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) of Article II, RA 9165 will be filed against the suspect.

Only a few hours after seizing MOL 1 kilo of suspected Marijuana in Solana, Cagayan, another kilo was seized in , Cagayan.

On October 24, 2018 at about 6:00 o’clock in the evening, state agents of PDEA RO II and Buguey PS conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Tabbak Zone 6, Buguey, Cagayan.

In his report to Director General AARON N AQUINO, DIR EMERSON R ROSALES, Regional Director, PDEA RO II identified the suspects as KATRINA ALLAG Y DANGANAN, female, 17 years old, single and a resident of Lasam, Cagayan and JOMEL WELBA Y ASCO, 18 years old, single and a resident of Rizal, Cagayan.

Confiscated during the operation was one (1) piece of suspected Marijuana brick wrapped in a newspaper and carton weighing MOL one (1) kilogram.

Cases for violations of Section 5 and 26 paragraph B of RA 1965 are being prepared for filling in court against the suspects. ###
