High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) Cable INDUSTRIAL

Hitachi was one of the original founders of the High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) technology. The proprietary HDMI standard developed was specifically for transmitting uncompressed and compressed video and data from an HDMI-compliant end device, to video monitors or a projector. The system requires highly engineered cables to support the application. Our cables are known for their exceptional quality and performance.

Several versions of the HDMI standard have been developed since the inception. The most current standard is HDMI 2.1 which was released in 2017. Moving large amounts of data quickly and with high fidelity was paramount to the HDMI success. The initial standard allowed for 3.96 Gbit/s data rate while the latest standard has skyrocketed to 42.6 Gbit/s.

Thanks in part to ’s unique construction materials our HDMI cables are well suited to withstand even the most stringent of installation and usage requirements, while providing customers with outstanding performance and cables that last.

PHYSICAL CONSTRUCTION DESCRIPTION Each precision HDMI Cable is extruded using Hitachi Cable America’s unique Flometrics Liquid Film ™ extrusion process. After extrusion, each conductor is braided with balanced, tensioned controlled braiders. Each component is then extruded with a PVC jacket. Multi-coax bundles are cabled together then extruded with an overall PVC jacket. Non jacketed, bundled cables are also available. Please contact the factory.
