Irina Lankova Irina Lankova performs in most prestigious concert halls such as Wigmore Hall in London, Flagey and Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels, Salle Gaveau in Paris, Französischer Dom in Berlin and Cidades das Artes in Rio. She is invited to play in many international festivals: Piano Folies Touquet, Schiermonnikoog Kamermuziekefestival, Musiq'3, Festival de Wallonie, Brussels Summer Festival, Fortissimo d'Orleans, Académie d'Été de Nice, Berlin Summer Festival, Sagra Musicale Umbria. Described by the international press as a pianist with “genuinely poetic touch" and “infinite palette of colours”, she reunites in her playing the best traditions of the Russian piano school and the freshness of personal interpretations. Born in Russia and graduated from Gnessin Music School in Moscow and from Brussels’ Royal Conservatory, she studied with great pianists such as Vladimir Tropp, Evgeny Moguilevsky and later with Vladimir Ashkenazy. In 2008, Irina Lankova was invited to join the worldwide piano elite ‘Steinway Artists’.Irina Lankova recorded several awarded solo albums: Rachmaninov, Liszt, Scriabin, Chopin and Schubert. Passionate by chamber music repertoire, Irina Lankova performs regularly with various artists including Tatiana Samouil, Michael Guttman, Philippe Graffin, Henri Demarquette, Dimitry Maslennikov, Jeroen Reuling, Pascal Moraguès, Marie Hallynck, Marc Tootne and many others. Willing to communicate more with her audience and passionate about the parallels between music and other forms of art and literature, Irina Lankova launches in 2016 'Piano Unveiled', a concept of informal concert, enriched with her personal comments and destined to all public. Irina Lankova is also producer of concerts in Belgium and in France, she lectures on classical music and popularise it through various appearances and collaborations. She is the artistic director of Internationl Music Festival Max van der Linden in Belgium and the Founder of Lime&Honey platform, connecting artistic and humanitarian worlds.
