Thank you to all our volunteers and our generous donors! Yavneh Day School’s Kitah Gan Geffen's 5 and 6 year olds raised over $90 through their Tzedakah project to purchase toys for the children at Good Samaritan Hospital. Students took a field trip to the hospital to deliver the gifts. Hanukkah Candle Lighting Ceremony We celebrated the sixth night of Hanukkah on December 29 with a ceremonial lighting of the Hanukiah in the outdoor portico of the Levy Family Center. Artist Jeff Warwick’s beautiful Hanukiah (pictured left) was also on display in the lobby. Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament Major Gifts Dinner The Jewish Federation’s Major Gifts Dinner was held on December 13 at the La Rinconada Country Club, where our guest speaker was from the humanitarian Congratulations to first place winner Seth Steiner.
