The updated format includes two 50-lap segments with mandatory green-flag pit stops and culminates with a 13-lap dash for the cash. A random draw prior to the start of the final segment determines whether the top nine, 10 or 11 cars enter pit road for a mandatory four-tire pit stop, with the remainder of the field staying out on older tires for the last segment.
