Their physicians have prescribed pain and anti-inflammatory medications along with muscles relaxers for temporary relief. In other words, the best they have offered is masking the pain with drugs.

Myofascial Release Therapy is a highly specialized stretching technique performed by a Licensed Massage Therapist who has received advanced training. During this therapeutic bodywork, the therapist will find areas of tightness (Myofascial Trigger Points) and apply a light stretch. After the tissue relaxes, the stretch will be increased. This is repeated until the area is fully relaxed. As your body responds, your therapist determines which muscles are stretched and in what order. The goal of this technique is to reduce the size and sensitivity of these Myofascial Trigger Points. This is a slow, methodical process so appointments are 90 minutes in duration.

A Certified Egoscue Method Specialist will guide you through your postural alignment therapy. The initial Egoscue® appointment is a two-hour session. It involves assessment and photographs of your posture, gait analysis and functional tests.
